The infrastructure is quite good, environment is hygienic and classroom are neat and spacy. College is central ac, have wifi and central library which you can even access online. There are different hostels for boys and girls and there is no sports room. Canteen provides high quality food service.
I am doing bcom and quality of teaching is not so appreciable. There is a high scope of improvement because the same curriculum are repeated every year and students copy paste the matter from library. The semester updates are on time on Amity's app amizone.
The fees of the course is quite high as compared to placements college offers. They do not provide very high package. This year only 4-5 students got placed and this is the main problem with almost every college now that they promised so much in their prospectus but do not give placements.
My course bcom cost INR 1.8LAKHS per year. If I talk about getting money's worth from the point of academics then it is not so good as it does not complete the purpose of giving us complete knowledge and a updated subject information but on the other hand if it comes to money's worth from the point of campus life then it is worth it. As amity campus provides you all the fun.
I can't deny the fact that when it comes to campus life Amity is at best. There are different clubs, societies in which you can enroll yourselves and keep doing your best at that. Also, there are sports events organised named Allumi once a year which goes on for 2days and have all different sports competition.
The campus life is amazing. There is completely safety and it's a ragging free campus. The only thing is curriculum needs to be updated and attandance system needs to be resolved as it is really hectic for students to maintain 75%attendance.
Amity campus is very good. It is equipped with all the required facilities and equipments to provide a good learning experience. The faculty is also very good, highly experienced, knowledgeable and professional. All classrooms are clean and kept neat and tidy. The food in canteen is hygienic, healthy and also there are cafe's like ccd, dosa plaza etc. We also have Mtc camps.
Currently I am doing bcom hons. I fell there is a high need for teachers in future. So i am preparing myself for it. The faculty is highly professional with their Phds. It's a good learning experience. Also, our curriculum is always updated on Amity's app named Amizone. And we are kept in line with all the recent developments.
This year our batch will be passing out, given the quality of studying that's happening I guess many would get a decent package. Also, some students have already got placed in good companies with a decent package.
The course cost per year is INR 75000. Yes the college has provided us with all the required facilities and knowledge to mould us into a better and responsible person for future. Also, the college provides new technology which help us keeping ourselves updated.
It's a huge campus spread in 110acres. Campus has centralized ac and is adequately staffed. Students engage in many extra curricular activities like yuva, dramebaaz etc. People come from all over the country and it's a great opportunity to know more people from various culture and different backgrounds. My college is completely safe and can even hamdle any emergency if there appears any.
Out of all,one thing that can be improved is attandance. Only those people will then attend the classes who are really willing to. Otherwise, the facilities and services are good. There is library for students, which is centralized and available online as well.
The infrastructure is quite good, environment is hygienic and classroom are very neat and clean. Faculties are well educated and have their PHD. To be honest, Wi-Fi do not work properly also there are air conditioner issues as most of the time ac do not work properly.
I am currently studying BBA and the quality of teaching is good. There is something which needs to be changed and that is the way they taught us. As they repeat the old curriculum and students take reports from their seniors and copy paste them.
The fees of the course is quite high as compared to placements offered. They do not provide very high packages. And even only 2-4 students got placed. Although teachers are very supportive during the time of placements but not many companies show on to recruit students.
My course BBA cost rupees 1 lakh 30 thousand per year on an average. No I don't agree to the fact that I am getting my money's worth. Because the system needs to be updated also the subject matter they are teaching needs to be updated. Nothing outside off acadamics is given an importance.
I can't deny the fact that when it comes to campus life it's really amazing. There are different clubs, societies like udan, dramebaaz, swachh Bharat, Yuva which you can be a part of and show cast your talent. Also ,there are students belonging to different backgrounds and teachers are supportive. My college is in pachgaon, yes it is completely safe.
The campus life is good but the problem is attendance. You need a minimum of 75%attendance otherwise you can't give your exams and there are students who get their back due to having 74.5%attendance. but the functions organized by the campus like fest is amazing.
ACC provides hostel facility with a tight security and warden. There are different blocks for boys and girls hostel. The faculty are very knowledgeable and professional. Classrooms are completely air conditioned and lecture theater types. Also, the auditoriums are very big, spacy and clean. Each block has it's own WiFi with a good speed.
I am persuing bcom as there is a high need for more teachers in the future. The quality of teaching is quite appreciable. There is Android app named Amizone which always keep us updated and all the curriculum are there on Amizone. Attendance, internals date sheet, result, schedule everything is there on Amizone. It also make us closer to technology.
During the time of placement teachers and staff members are very supportive. They doall the necessary measures to help a child get placed in a nice company. Most of the students get placed this year within average package of ₹400000.
I am doing BCom Hons and my course course rupees 1.5 lakh per year. Yes I am getting my money's worth as with the major degree of BCom Hons, I am getting an opportunity to get a minor degree in any of one course that I like and moreover to get a degree in one foreign language.
Amity is a huge University spread in 110 acres. It is completely environmental healty and have students all across the world.ensure suited you meet new children from different background and learn something new about Indian culture or foreign culture. Also there are different activities like Yuva, udan in which students can engage themselves and show their talent. My college is in panchgaon near Gurgaon and yes, it is completely safe.
Amity provides you many opportunities to show your talent or to overcome your weakness. Also, you came to meet many students from different background. The fest time is completely amazing. Last year Darshan Raval came to our college, and this year Marshmallow and Ollee came. It was a mesmirizing experience.
All classrooms at Amity campus are spacious and Air conditioned. Most of the classes are amphitheatre style. Classrooms at Amity have been designed to bring together analysis with action andvare augmented with integrated audio visual reaching aids for lectures, presentation etc. There are different canteens and cafe with high quality of food and drinks available in an affordable price range.
I am persuing commerce. Teacher's are well qualified and knowledgeable. They trach us in an understandable manner and we can always discuss our problems with them. Also Amity offers extra workshops like communication and behavioural science which helps increase our skills and our personality. There are several guest lectures held at National level too that is a great opportunity for any student.
Although, placement is good but it can be improved. The maximum package this year have been of ₹3.5lacks. 40% students got placed this year with an average pack of 3lacks in commerce field. Placement process is quite easy and teachers are very supportive and helpful. They guide us well and help us during placement time.
Roughly 1.5lakh bcom hons cost per year. Yes, its worth the value because apart from academics we get many other opportunities like guest lectures and workshops
Amazing dj nights. Fest are awesome. Military camp is fun. College life is full of joy, and awesomeness. Campus is very safe and hygienic also it maintains a proper oxygen level and no co2 . It ensures you breathe in a fully healthy air.
You will enjoy at Amity. The activities, clubs, fest and functions make your life a memorable experience. Also, teachers are very supportive.
We have a very large campus. This consists of 4 academics buildings, 4 buildings for hostels, cafeterias, gym, sports fields and courts and also a military camp. The college also has a central library , laboratories with many equipments and auditorium in each academic buildings.
I am studying BCA as i wanted to be in the field of IT without having to crack a difficult exam like IIT mains. The faculty of our department are highly qualified. They help us to learn things needed in the job . The curriculum is also student friendly and updated according to developments in the field.
About 70% student get placed and rest go for internships and higher studies. The package goes upto 18 LPA and the average salary is about 5-6 LPA. The college held many conferences regarding guiding the student about placement process
yesss it is bit expensive but value for what u re paying
Amazing campus life.
The college is really beautiful. It has all the necessary infrastructure and facilites that should be present in a college. It has 4 differents buildings for differents departments. The college has good labs for every subject. The class is big and has ac. We have many cafeterias. The hostel is present inside the campus only. The sports arena is also good and we also have a gym and a library.
The curriculum is easy and sufficient. The teachers are highly intelligent but they are not that supportive. The curriculum has many courses like behavioral and communicational skills workshops that make us job ready.
About 60% students got placed in 2019. Many top labs and companies visit pur college for hiring students. The average salary is about 4 LPA. The placements process is very friendly for the students. The teachers guide us throughout the process
yes my college have all the facilities which is important for students.Like canteens, parks, library, hostel, wifi etc.The college have smart class rooms as well as. The college is clean and well built the college are so dedicated to cleanness.
I study in bcom hons .The quality of teaching is very good the faculties are educated and have lot of experienced in this. yes the curriculum is updated and have all the recent developments that we all need . The College provides best faculty members
The Placements are very good recently to many companies come in campus to take interview of the students. They are offering about 3 lakh per annum to average student to the non medical stream. The placements process is so easy and simple in college.
My course cost me around 1.3 lakh per annum which is not bad at this type of facilities given by the college. I think i am getting my money worth as the college provide best facilities to the students.
i dont think it have any bad feature. The university provides Military training camp for the students which is the best thing happened in my experience of Amity. The College is near the highway and it is too safe as well as the location is also very good surrounded by greenery.
According to me Very Good University.
The infrastructure is really nice and college has all facilities except a swimming pool. But the location at which the campus is located is not that safe specially for girls. The classrooms are big and have projectors . The labs have many equipments and computer labs have great internet. We have a big library with many books. There are many cafeterias with many books . The sports grounds and courts also present
The curriculum is easy but needs to include more computer languages which might help us to get placements easily. The teachers are really knowledgeable and tries to motivate us all the time. But attendance is a big issue in amity.
About 48% students got placed in 2019. Others got internships and some went higher studies in M.tech. and MBA. The highest package was about 20LPA. The key to get placed is to learn as many computer languages as you can learn from outside because college teach limited languages.
The campus life is fun . But the crowd is not that good and students come from nearby villages. The dj nights and fests are fun.
The college is present outside the city surrounded by nature which makes it clean and beautiful. The college has all the facilities and infrastructure required . It has labs which are well equipped, Cafeterias, library, sports complex, military camp and hostels.
The academics are really good in the college. They give us both theoretical and practical knowledge. Teachers have alot of knowledge in whatever field they are teaching. The teachers are also very helpful. The syllabus is updated according to latest trends.
About 50-60% get placement through in campus placements. Many top firms in field of bioinfo, biomed, pharmaceuticals etcs visit our college. The package received by students range from 2LPA to 18 LPA.
Dear Sadaf,
Yes I mean Amity University (especially Noida campus) offers decent LLB placements of Rs 5-6 LPA and top firms like Deloitte and Khaitan & Co recruiting.
Kolkata campus has lower placements. Good for private law college, but NLUs are better.
Ok then BEST OF LUCK!!!
Hi Aspirant
Amity University offers admission to BTech programs through two major pathways which are the Amity Joint Entrance Exam and JEE Main score submission The rank needed in JEE Main to secure a seat in Amity depends on several key factors including the year of admission the demand for the course the campus you choose and your category status such as General OBC SC or ST
In general Amity University is known for offering flexible admission policies and also has its own entrance exam for students who may not have a competitive rank in JEE Main However for students applying through JEE Main the university does consider your rank and percentile as part of their selection process especially for popular courses like Computer Science Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology
For the General category candidates a rank within the range of fifteen thousand to forty thousand in JEE Main is typically competitive for getting admission into high demand courses at the Noida campus This range is considered good enough to be eligible for merit scholarships as well The higher your rank the better your chances of securing a seat in core branches like Computer Science
For OBC category students the acceptable rank can go up to fifty thousand or slightly higher depending on the course and campus chosen Students from the SC and ST categories have additional relaxation in admission criteria and may secure admission even with a rank up to sixty five thousand or more for some branches and campuses
Students applying under the EWS category usually fall under similar consideration as the OBC group and a rank under fifty thousand may be sufficient for certain courses although more competitive branches like Computer Science still require better scores
Another important point is the availability of scholarships which is directly linked to your JEE percentile Students with ninety percentiles and above in JEE Main are often considered for tuition fee waivers ranging from twenty five to one hundred percent based on the percentile achieved The scholarship can be a major deciding factor for students and makes a strong JEE score valuable even if you are admitted without it being strictly required
Besides JEE rank students can also gain admission through their class twelve marks with an eligibility requirement of at least sixty percent aggregate in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics Some campuses and branches may require higher cutoffs depending on the demand
Amity also considers extracurricular activities and personal interviews for final admission decisions in some cases This means that even if a student's JEE rank is not very high they may still be offered a seat based on overall profile
In case you do not meet the cutoff for your desired branch in the first round it is advisable to consider applying for newer or related branches like Artificial Intelligence or Internet of Things as they usually have slightly lower cutoff ranks but are still in high demand.
Eligibility : Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks for Non-Sponsored category (45–50% for Sponsored). Final-year students can apply provisionally, submitting degree proof by October 31. Specialized MBA programs (e.g., Data Science, IT) may require relevant degrees like Engineering or Statistics with 50% marks.
Entrance Exams : Valid scores from CAT (85 percentile), MAT (650 for Non-Sponsored, 600 for Sponsored), XAT (85 percentile), CMAT (200), GMAT (550), or NMAT (250 for Non-Sponsored) are required. Alternatively, candidates can take the Amity Written Test.
Selection Process : Shortlisted candidates undergo Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Some campuses may include essay writing to assess communication and analytical skills.
