Batch of Jan. 1, 2014 | B.Tech Food Technology
I completed my B.Tech in Food Technology from Amity Institute of Food Technology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh. The college infrastructure is quite good. From college cafeteria to dominos and cafe coffee day, anything and everything is available in the campus itself. Equipped with all facilities like salon, departmental store and Amul flavour. In my course of B.Tech we went to at least 3-4 factory visits and we had 2 compulsory internships. The overall college life is nice. Strict faculties, attendance is strictly marked and minimum 75 percent I required for giving the final examinations. The opportunity to take part in various extracurricular activities and sports is vast. The college has sangathan the sports event every year plus a big fest too every year. Hostel facilities are good too with both AC and Non AC rooms available. My experience of placements was ok but could have been better which sometimes depends also on the course that you have opted for. Overall experience was good but expected a bit more in placements.
