ALS, Delhi used to be in top 10 law schools in India, however, presently, the quality of education has been degraded a lot. most of the faculties are under qualified and they do not know the basics of the subject they are teaching. The placement cell of this college is defunct and hardly 5% of the batch gets a placement. I won't recommend this college to anyone.

College life at Amity is fantastic, it has good infrastructure, good faculties, strict attendance system, and provides a good exposure. The only turn off is the placement system. Other than that everything is a marvel. Hostel are quite good as compared to other colleges. I've had good experience until now, but fees is quite high accordingly. Life at Amity is awesome.

Amity College encourages students from all faith backgrounds to find their God-designed potential for leadership, scholarship, and service. At Amity, students develop spiritual and professional gifts; find professors who care for and respect the individual; and seize opportunities to create, learn and connect. An accredited, comprehensive college, Amity, offers active learning in a vibrant Christian atmosphere where students connect the classroom and their world. With a focus on undergraduate studies, Amity's nurturing environment offers a traditional liberal arts education combined with practical experiences such as internships, academic and career counseling, study abroad and volunteer opportunities. An honors program challenges high academic achievers, and Amity's Teaching Learning Center helps students of all academic abilities achieve their full potential. In the comfortable campus atmosphere, professors not graduate students teach classes. This high-energy major prepares students for careers of humanitarian service or disaster response around the world. It might not be very good for other courses but for the law it is good. Infrastructure is pretty good and the only drawback is the faculty is not very specialized and smart. Located in the capital city of Lincoln, Nebraska, Union’s arboretum campus offers billowing trees in a sprawling park-like setting. Founded in 1891, Union’s 50-acre setting blends the ivy and brick of collegiate tradition with modern facilities.

(As Far as BA-LLB goes)Do not confuse this place for a college. You've just completed your grade 12 and watched endless shows and movies on how college life goes and are enthralled by this image, then go ahead take a dump on this image and get ready to join 5 more years of school starting from grade 13. Infrastructure is amazing To accommodate more students the once amazing, comfortable, huge and satisfying classes are divided into portions and sections, resulting in claustrophobic little chambers with no facilities like projector or microphones(because who needs those when you have teachers who can scream).ONE AMAZING BENEFIT OF THE DIVIDER IN THE CLASSES IS THAT, WE NOW HAVE WARS AS TO WHO CAN THUMP THE WALL HARDER AND DISTURB THE OTHER CLASS. As to the wonderful teachers, really great mentors, the only problem is that they came here straight from teaching the 3rd grade or is it us who came here straight from the 3rd grade. LET ME EXPLAIN. *You come 5 minutes late into the class, no attendance for you *you law student, how come you argue with the teacher, no attendance for you *You Talk in class, No attendance for you! *why you Not did homework, No attendance for you! Attendance here is the stuff of life! You have less than 75%, you fail. Students here are really intellectual and you're in for a nice competition. Academically you are in a really nice college and otherwise a really straightforward school. ALSD- teaching from grades 13-18.

If you think you will get a college experience in this college then you are wrong. Strict rules, nonstop classes from 9.30am - 3, attendance used as means of extortion and with half the faculty not knowing how to make classes interesting and interactive, the life is as monotonous and unchanging as an outdated syllabus that is taught here. Students grievances are ignored, the administrative staff works like employees of a govt office sending you from one person to another just for a signature, attendance used as extortion to seek conformity of rules from the students and zero transparency. The by-laws prevent the students from forming a student union thus providing for no representation of student's opinion from the basic decisions. Though the college administration and rules are strict and unreasonable, the faculty is helpful. The only saving grace is the private amity infrastructure which can be enjoyed on affordable Sarkari fees.

All in all a good college. There is some strictness which is somewhere needed in a law college. It is affiliated to IP university but offers the campus of Amity, therefore, you are getting college life of Amity at the cost of fees norms set by IP which is very much less than the fees of Amity Law School Noida which is affiliated to Amity itself.

When I got fresh off the boat I was scared to see the level of competition, I realised that along with academics I have to be exceptional in every other aspect as well. I somehow feel that my college lacks the right kind of motivation that should be provided to every student so that he become successful,.The faculty treats the whole course like a task to finish on time irrespective of the level of understanding of students, however there are some teachers who are really nice who will take an extra step to make sure they aren't just teaching us and will try to make us understand the practicality of the subject. The need of the hour is to look into the management and make sure a more interactive environment with students and also very importantly to provide students with right kind of exposure to internship opportunities along with other co-curricular activities.

The college has a good infrastructure and provides for everything that a law student would require during the span of 5 years in college. It provides good industry exposure and the seniors are friendly and helpful. Placements are handled by the placement cell which has the immense support of the faculty as well as the students.

Disclaimer: There is no life being law school. It has been a bittersweet experience till date. As much as you'd love the infrastructure given that you pay pennies for it, you'd want more from the faculty. The exposure to various national level competitions has only helped students here. But it is a struggle dealing with certain administerial issues. Placements have been getting better with each passing year and I am pleased. The crowd is that of a typical law school, nothing out of the ordinary.

Amity Law School, Delhi situated in the Amity Noida campus is affiliated to GGSIPU University and enjoys nice infrastructure of the Amity plus the students get the degree of IP. The good saga ends there as all the other important aspects of law life such as moots, research paper etc. are done by the student themselves and they get little to no support from the authority. The curriculum of the college is not as sharp as other national law schools which can be attributable to the lazy attitude of IP university. The college doesn't boast a very good faculty and the classrooms are filled not for gaining knowledge but the attendance, the less of which can lead to detainment from exams. Students of the college are easily the most important pros that the college has with different events and activities being conducted by them. The biggest advantage that this college has is its proximity from Delhi and students can in the end of the day go back to their homes with majority of them being from Delhi itself. Moreover, the college has been ranked higher than most of the National Law Universities and it is definitely one of the best colleges among the many in India.

Amity law college (IP university) is arguably the best private law college in India. The infrastructure, the hostel, the faculty are all good.Extra curricular activities are given much preference for everyone. All things apart, the life in amity university is pretty awesome. There's reasonable freedom and no ragging incidents were observed by me during my course till now.

The college infrastructure is very good and enormous. There is a whole lot of exposure that you get inside the college. There are many competitions and opportunities. Some teachers are experienced, others not so much. Separate girls and boys hostel available. The attendance system is very strict and is a drawback. The fees are very very high.

Amity Law School is one of the most popular out of all the Amity Colleges. situated in Noida , Uttar Pradesh. It's been six months since I joined college and the amount of knowledge I've gained is immense. The teachers not only teach you what the syllabus requires but also guide you regarding the practicality of the subject which not many colleges offer. The college environment is great , with the hustle of the students in the corridors to the peaceful atmosphere in the library. This college has a separate library for law students & a Central Library which can be accessed by all. The teachers are welcoming & are ready to help the students at any hour. The law school offers moot experience , cultural experience, and very good placements. The overall rating would be 9/10.

Here in Amity, the faculties are really very educated and very help ful in nature. I still remembered my first day of college because I came from a small city so for me everything was very new but then time passes and I came across with very good people. So overall Amity for exposure is very amazing you will learn new things daily and you will love this college once you enter and ya everything has two phases good and bad and its completely depend on the student that what direction you are choosing for yourself..one should be very selective with the company..and ya go with the flow.

Faced hurdles but the exposure and opportunities helped

Amity Law School Delhi, which is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, has its campus inside the Amity University. The same is a point of great confusion while discussing the status and rankings of our college. By having a campus in Amity university, the students are able to enjoy all the infrastructural facilities, which are needles to say very expensive and more than adequate, provided to the private Amity students viz. swimming, shooting, badminton courts, properly built and air conditioned campus, availability of all the logistics, well-structured moot court halls, and seminar halls etc. Due to 85% quota for students from Delhi, people from other parts of the country are seldom seen. However, that doesn't affect the quotient of quality and intellect of the student crowd. Students are highly competitive in nature and hence aim to achieve success at bot individual and college level. The location of the college is also a factor while considering the overall position as numerous opportunities are available to a student residing in the NCR. The same provides huge exposure to the students. As far as the faculty is concerned, ALSD is not on it's best game. The quality of teaching is not that high as teachers and professors are not upto the mark. Recently due to the protests in the college many learned professors are being transferred to the private Amity campus which affects the academical domain of the college. We expect the teachers to have a thorough knowledge of the subjects and an active teaching plan so that the students understand each and every fundamental of the subject. The hostel services are also disappointing at some point in time as the restrictions regarding the entry and exit time of the hostels are quite strict which sometimes bar a student from availing various opportunities. Overall the accommodation in the Hostels, apart from the strict nature, is very good and the food is also tasty. We also have Dominoz, CCD, Dosa Plaza, W H Smith, Loreal etc. on the campus. Placements of the college are a little more than non-existent but various efforts are being made by the college authorities to develop the same. Relations with the alumni is also great which is also an important factor to consider. As our college is a semi-government college hence the tuition fee and other fees are affordable. Per year a student has to pay around Rs. 70000/-, which is much less as compared to NLUs and other private institutions.

AMITY LAW SCHOOL, DELHI is one of the renowned colleges under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The college stands on number 2 under the GGSIPU affiliated colleges and as well holds 11 th national ranking. Talking about the infrastructure, the college is full of luxuries , one can find everything there, from books to eating joints, eating joints to a salon, salon to the gaming area , gaming area to arcadia and much more such things.Faculty by far is the best as compared to other law schools under ipu. the college provides a great exposure to its students by organising various events and moots. Placement cell is amazing as I have till now from the seniors. The college environment is amazing , the crowd is great. the negative aspect is the attendance rule, the attendance rules are hell strict. So, one has to maintain 75% attendance to survive in the college. All in all, it's a good college, if you wish to stay in Delhi !( at least better than the NLUS after GNLU.)

Overall review about the important info needed for the place

This college is a really good college infrastructure wise, the teacher faculty is mixed. Some are extremely good while others are comparatively okay, the college started with the placements last year with not so bad placements, the college timings are student friendly but attendance issues are strict. The college overall has a good crowd and a friendly staff . As it is located, in the amity campus. All facilities of amity are available which makes it a cherry on the cake. The college is overall a good place, it offers hostel facility as well. There are two hostels in the campus , life here is really fun. It's good to do things . There are various extra curricular activities that are conducted here. A lot of students participate in these activities. There is personality skill development classes which enhance the personality of the students. The teachers are cooperative and try to help.

I am an outside Delhi student and truly saying my college life till now has left me with a lot of experiences and lessons which I will remember for the whole of my life. To be very true about my college, in the recent times, due to a protest by the student fraternity it has gone through various administrative changes. The most important feature which brings this box in a sui generis list is the student quality it has. The infrastructure is good and getting better. The hostel is not separate for ALSDians. They share the hostel with amity university students and even getting hostel allowed in your name is a tough task if you are a bit late. Our seniors and alumni have brought a lot of accolades to the name of our institute and the legacy continues as we progress each day. A lot of societies are constituted like the drama society(rangrasiya), debating society(debsoc), dance society(raqqassa), ADR society and MOOT COURT Society. IP University has brought in a concept of PSDAs (professional skill development society) which on a positive side gives us ample of opportunities to know and experience about the field of law. Teachers' Faculty is a mixture of amazing, good and boring ones and most of them are associate or assistant professors. Being connected to Delhi NCR is a great advantage for the students. On the whole its an awesome one for those who are really willing to pursue law and it's their passion but not for those who just want to have degree because often the schedule becomes hectic one for them.

College life is not all flowers, balloons, and romantic songs but rather it is more about carving a place for yourself in the real world. There is no more protected environment of the school and you end up making mistakes, a lot of them. Amity Law School, Delhi is one heck of an eye-opener for any student. The whole environment though really political at times helps you grow. It makes you understand the balance you need between your studies, extracurricular, internships, attendance and possibly all other things that you can think of. The infrastructure is pretty good with room for all the activities a student needs. The only problem I feel with this institution is that it does not really encourage or guide you in the matters of extracurricular activities. The result being that knowledge gets restricted to books for most of the students. Though moots, debates happen annually yet there is a lot lacking. An environment for open, healthy discussion and guidance needs to be worked upon.

Amity Law School, Delhi (ALSD) has sought a place of prominence and earned a reputation within the legal fraternity. The Institution has been established by Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan to provide excellence in Legal Education and to produce Quality Lawyers. ALS, Delhi has provided a platform to the students where they can share best of ideas, information, and knowledge. It provides an academically conducive environment that helps them to identify the leadership qualities in them. ALS has created a climate where academic excellence, leadership abilities, and qualities evolve altogether along with value education, love, and respect for the traditions and culture. Amity law school Delhi is one of the most reputed law schools in India. While the infrastructure is much better than most Indian law colleges it still lacks certain basic features like proper classrooms and technological facilities are not updated at all. The teachers only teach the specific things mentioned in the book and do not give any way for the application or out of the box thinking. The crowd of this college is good and people are generally helpful. Placements are pretty decent too.

Amity Law School, Delhi is a renowned college under IP University. It holds second place by the criteria of ranking. It stands at par with top colleges in terms of placement. The quality of education provided here makes all the difference. Every college has it's own pros and cons but the positive aspects of Amity weigh more than the negatives. With best of faculty and an environment where one only learns and improves for the better is the commendable part of Amity Law School. It does not compromise on luxuries either. Plus point being, it shares a campus with Amity University and every facility, from the main cafeteria to game parlour, everything is accessible to Amity Law School students. Student redressal committee also exists to listen to the plight of students. It sure is strict but it is all for the benefit of students. Classes are interactive and there are seminars and other competitions every now and then. The two most important societies are Moot Court society and MUN society. Amity does not compromise on any learning opportunity. Brownie points for the fact Amity Law School, Delhi does not lay down the fee structure the same as the private University but every facility is accessible nonetheless.

Amity Law School, is ranked among the top 10 law colleges

Amity Law School, Delhi is ranked among the top 10 law colleges in India. It is affiliated to IP University, thus the fee structure and syllabus are decided by IP University. The infrastructure is great as one can fairly imagine by hearing the name Amity itself. Classes are held between 9:30-4. There is a half an hour break for lunch. My college life till now has been an amazing experience. The classrooms are well constructed, air conditioned and have space for about 80 students. It has a well-organized library with easy book search and reading facility. The college has an excellent hostel and sports facility. The evaluation methodology has been a problem not only with this college but with every college affiliated to the university mentioned above but if one works hard it isn’t much difficult to score. Very strict rules regarding attendance issue are followed and the disciplinary rules are more like a school or an army institution with almost no relaxation in rules at all. College does not pay the expenses incurred by participants representing the college at any national or international platform. The crowd is lively and cheerful which makes the campus life happening. The college does its part to get good law firms or companies and place a few students who are interested in taking jobs immediately after graduation. Most of the herd, however, go for further studies in something or the other; be it LLM or the judicial services or a master’s overseas. Internships during the course mostly managed by students themselves. But my personal advice regarding admission in the college would be a big 'No' since amity is removing the IP university affiliation from next year and there would be a fees hike and the reputation of the college will deteriorate as well.
