The university has well equipped classrooms in the form of lecture theatre amd syndicate rooms for meetings and discussions. Apart from this, there are auditoriums, library, laboratories and television studio. The campus has strict security through bio metric readers, cameras and 24 hour guards.
I'm studying Bachelors in Travel and Tourism Management. The professors are amazing. Apart from core course, courses like emotional intelligence, creative thinking and human engineering are taught by the faculty of Amity Institute of Behavioral& Allied Sciences in the form of workshops. These workshops make us job ready.
The quality of placements in our college is up to the mark. Some of the top companies like Grand Hyatt hotel, Hewlett Packard etc turn up the campus for placements. Average salary is around 4-5 lacs. Placement drive at amity is led by corporate resource centre.
Course cost per year is around 1lacs per year and hostel fee is around 1lac for ac hostel and 65000 for non ac hostel.
Campus life is getting more and more good each year. Students can involve in a lot of clubs like saakar for social activities. Also amity has a marathon every year which is compulsory for hostelers. Also there is sports festival called sangathan every year.
The college has big and clean classes. We also have many labs, the computer labs have good internet connectivity. We also have libraries with many books. The college also has a sports complex and a military camps. We have many cafeterias with tasty affordable food. The campus also have hostels for boys and girls separate.
The academics is pretty decent, but the college needs to increase the knowledge of programming languages in their curriculum. The teachers are qualified and helpful but stick to the syllabus only and doesn't teach anything extra.
Many top IT companies visit our college but only 40-50% get placed. The highest salary received was around 18 LPA. The average salary received was 4-5 LPA. Other students go for higher studies. The college takes online test for placements.
You can try another college or you should learn languages from outside to make the degree value for money.
The campus has a beautiful infrastructure and many facilities. We has 4 building with 4 floors each and many classrooms, big well equipped labs, auditoriums in each block. We also have many cafeterias and a CCD. The college also has a good sports complex and hostels inside the campus only.
Our department of AIB is really disciplined. We have many good teachers who are very helpful. We also have some teachers who are not that good. We are given both theoretical and practical knowledge...
Half of the students (50%) get placed from in campus placements. The other students can get job outside the campus easily as amity not only helps in developing knowledge but it also helps in developing our confidence and personality. The average package is about 3-4 LPA.
A fees is bit high but good academics and placements compensate for it. So yes the course is value for the money you will pay.
The university is best in terms of infrastructure. There are four separate academic blocks which are internally connected with connectors, means if you want to go from one building from another, you don't need to step out of the building. Also there are lifts everywhere. Two blocks have their separate mess and there are separate mess for hostellers. Apart from that there are dosa plaza, ccd and hashtag. So food is the best at amity. Also there is a separate gym for hostellers.
I'm studying MBA. The faculties here are just average. Some don't even reach to atgend classes in all the lectures and some just come to complete their syllabus. There are a few teachers who are good and supporting. Overall it is fine.
The placements is average. You can't really expect some IIM level placements here but then it is a private college and most students come here for the degree only. Still, the placements cell does try to get the best Mncs.
Course cost per year is around 4 lacs. Its fine in terms of money worth since after spending almost 9 lacs on your MBA you get a placement of approx 4-5 lacs max.
Campus life is good for bachelors. For mba they have a e cell that is entrepreneur cell which gives so much experience for corporate world.
The college has all green campus. Its like if you step outside college you can feel the high rise temperature in july-august but inside college, the temperature is levelled due to greeenery and this is the best thing about amity. Also academic blocks and hostels are air conditioned. Food at all the mess is very tasty. Library furniture is really luxurious that most of the crowd sit in the library.
I'm studying B des. (Fashion Design). The faculties for fashion design are knowledgeable and friendly. They listen to us amd even we are allowed to suggest changes in the department. The curriculum is updated and rightly divided among all the semesters.
The quality of placements in fashion design is fine. From second year onwards, we start going to places for events and fashion shows which gives us enough exposure and thus we get a lot of achievements in our CV for placements. Also, a lot companies turn up for placements from the beginning of 7th sem.
Course cost per year would be around 2 lacs.
From the beginning of first year which begins with talent hunt, campus life has been amazing. If you really have some talent, you can be recongnizable in the university and then you can get into some clubs.
College infratsructure is amazing. Classrooms and auditoriums are fully air conditioned. Also whole campus is wifi connected. Library is two floored connected with lifts and escalators. Also there are computers for personal use in the library. College also has a stationary shop where you can get print outs and photocopies.
I'm studying BA english hons. The quality of teaching is good. All the teachers are Phd. They have all the knowledge and if you listen to them, your writing skills really increases. Also the workshops give sufficient environment for you to learn.
The quality of placements is average for our course but then most of english hons students aim to be a writer, so they don't sit for placements. Though placements are very easily given to students if they attend interview workshop. Almost everyone can get placements, provided they should clear all their exams.
Course cost per year is around 80-90k
College is located in a village in gurgaon which is the only negative factor otherwise campus life is really happening
College infrastructure is excellent. There are libraries, labs, moot courts. Hostel facilities are really good and safe. Hostel attendance occurs three times a day and cleaner comes to clean the rooms two times a day. Classrooms are all clean and hygienic and they have smart boards.
I'm studying Bcom llb hons. The quality of teaching best for law students. The university gets the best faculties for law students and even the guest facilities and guest speakers are very much knowledgeable.
The quality of placements is really good. There students who got internship opportunity in amarchand mangaldas but then most of the students have law family background, so they are not really active for placements. Average placement is around 35k
Course cost per year is around 2.30 lac. Its completely worth the money because they provide really good faculty and exposure.
Campus life is really happening. There are debate societies, and theatre clubs like ek awaz.
College has all the necessary things which are required for the infrastructure. There separate sewing machines for fashion design students and also dummies are provided by college. Classrooms are amphitheater style. Also mess and hostels are clean and hygienic
I'm studying fashion design and the quality of teaching is good. The college is really focussed for our course. We generally have fashion show events going on and the crowd very much takes interest in those. The curriculum is also updated. Plus there are internships for our course which makes us job ready.
The placements at amity for fashion design are not really good. Placement cell is more supportive when it comes to our course. They are more fine in courses like MBA and Btech. Highest placement generally go for MBA
Course cost per semester is around 70k
Campus life here is amazing. There are a variety of events always taking place like fashion show, debates etc.
The campus is really big with many buildings that includes 4 blocks with classrooms and highly equiped labs. 2 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. We also have many cafeterias, one food truck and one departmental stores. We also have three libraries . One is cental, one for law students and one for architecture students.
As the rating is saying the academics is outstanding. The syllabus designed is easy and at the same time covers all the important topics. We also have foreign language and change to get a minor degree in any field of our interest. The teachers are really qualified and helpful.
The college gives NOC in last semester so that we can do internships to get experience and just come for giving exams. The placement in our department is about 70% with average of 4-5 LPA. The teachers and other staff support us .
College life is pretty cool. With good people, dj nights, sports day , amifest etc.
The college has many facilities like big libraries, clean classrooms, well equiped laboratories. We have different building for diff departments. There are 2 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel. The college also has a sports complex and a military camp.
I am studying bsc. bls because i wanted to prepare for csir net and jnu exam. The teachers are really intelligent and helpful. They try to help us not only with the curriculum but outside it also personally.
About 40-50% get placed . The placement cell is not that strong. Many companies visit our colleges. The average salary offered are about 4-5 LPA. The teachers do try to guide us for our future for masters.
yes it is worth it taking admission in this college.
Dear aspirant,
The careers opportunities at Amity University can be good, but they largely depend on the campus, course, your skills, and how actively you engage during your studies . Since you have not mention which Amity campus you are referring to , but remember the Noida campus offers better placements compared to other Amity campuses. For CSE, Law management and mass communication placement records are decent, with top companies like TCS, Deloitte, Accenture and a few startups hiring students. But you have to keep in mind that it’s important to build strong projects, communication skills internship and networking. Amity gives you the platform, but the outcome depends a lot on your efforts.
