With a rank of 169 in IPU CET for B.Sc. Nursing, your chances are very strong. Usually, ranks below 200 are considered excellent, and you can expect admission in top IP University-affiliated colleges. The concern about NEET qualifiers is valid, but IPU reserves a separate set of seats for CET candidates as well.
Best of luck!

If you have filled the IPU form through CUET, your college allotment details will be released during the IPU counseling process. The schedule and notifications are published on the official portal – ipu.admissions.nic.in. Allotment results are usually declared in late June, followed by fee payment and reporting. Keep checking the portal regularly to avoid missing updates.
Hello!
Yes IPU does conduct a spot round for BA LLB admissions. The spot rounds conduct after all the couselling round 1,2 and 3. It is conducted to fill the vacant or extra seats.
The spot rounds 1 have already been conducted and spot round 2 registeration have already been done. For more accurate information you can check IPU official portal.
If you've been allotted a seat in the first round of IPU counselling but are not satisfied with it and wish to explore options in subsequent rounds.
Firstly, you must pay the part academic fee, which is Rs. 60,000 in your case. This payment confirms your acceptance of the allotted seat, although you are not committed to joining that particular course or institution yet.
According to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, if you fail to pay this fee, you will forfeit your claim to the allotted seat and will not be allowed to participate in any further counselling rounds. After paying the fee, you need to choose the "Float" option within the counselling portal.
This indicates that you are interested in being considered for a higher preference in the upcoming rounds while holding onto your current seat as a backup.
You can then participate in the subsequent rounds, including the sliding round and potentially even spot rounds, to try and secure a better seat based on your preferences and merit.
Remember to stay informed about the counselling schedule and any updates on the official IPU website to ensure you don't miss out on important deadlines or announcements.
Good luck!!
Hello,
In counselling and admission processes, many students make small mistakes during form filling, so you are not alone. Generally, most universities or counselling authorities allow students to edit or reset their choices before the second round. Since you mentioned DUIPU (probably Delhi-based quota like Delhi University or IPU counselling), if you have passed class 11th and 12th from Delhi, then you are eligible for the 85–90% Delhi region quota. If you missed ticking that during the first round, you must check whether the portal allows corrections in round 2. Usually, during the choice filling before round 2, a correction window is provided. If not, you should immediately contact the helpline number or official email ID of the counselling authority and raise a grievance.
Thank you for raising this question, and I hope you are able to fix your registration issue successfully.
Hi dear candidate,
The IP University and it's affiliated colleges like VIPS, JIMS, MSIT etc. all have 85% of the seats reserved for Delhi students and the remaining ones are for outsiders which has good amount of competition.
Yes, the IPU reserves seat for outsiders as well but you will need a valid EWS certificate that is issued after 31 March 2025.

First, try for Jagannath International Management School in the first shift. Last year, students with a rank around 2322 got a seat here. Then, you can try for Jagan Institute of Management Studies Rohini in the second shift. Its closing rank was around 2114. Next, consider Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies second shift. Its last year closing rank was around 1019, so you may not get it easily, but you can still keep it in preference in case the cutoffs drop. Finally, you should add Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management second shift. This college had closing ranks up to 5776, so you have a good chance there.
You should list these colleges in order of your preference, giving more importance to evening shift and better colleges first. You can wait for Round 3 also if you don’t get a seat in Round 2.
