Hello,
B.Sc Physics aspirants must have at least cleared the 10+2 examination from a recognized Board in the Science stream and must have studied Physics as a mandatory subject at the qualifying level. Admission is merit-based most of the time, but some universities hold entrance exams for admission to BSc Physics.
Thank you.
Hello,
I believe there are two methods to be admitted to IISc (indian institute of science).
-You must take the kvpy test, which is offered by IISc Bangalore every year. After passing the written and interview requirements, you must submit an application for admission.
-You must pass the JEE-ADVANCED test before applying for admission. If your application is selected for further consideration, you will then be required to attend an interview and if you are chosen, you get admitted to IISc after completing grade 12.
Thank You
Hello,
Mdes is an excellent degree for creative people, and your job and compensation will improve as a result. You can, in fact, apply for MDES.
You must succeed in the CEED, an annual design entry test. The majority of Indian schools, including NITs and IITs, accept CEED scores as proof of eligibility for MDes.
A select few universities, like IIT Kanpur and IISC Bangalore , also accept GATE scores. Engineering students have a second opportunity to apply for MDes without having to submit a CEED score.
BE, BTech, BDes, or BArch with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50 percent (pass grades for SC/ST) are required.
GATE / CEED score (70 percent weighting) with an online design aptitude test and an interview make up the IISc Bangalore selection process (30 percent weightage).
Good Luck!!
Candidates must have obtained a first class or a grade of 60% or higher in the II PUC / 12th Standard exam. There is no minimum percentage requirement for SC/ST candidates; they must simply pass the II PUC / 12th Class.
It is, indeed. IISc Bangalore is well-known for its research programmes, and it has been ranked 155th in the QS world rankings and first in the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) rankings on a consistent basis.
IITs are more industry-focused, whereas IISc is more research-focused. IIT Bombay is a better option for bachelor's degree programmes. If you want to pursue a career in engineering, you should attend IIT. However, if you want to pursue a career in research, you should attend IISc Bengaluru.
Admission to IISc Bangalore is based on national-level exam scores or institute-based entrance exams. The JEE Main, KVPY, NEET UG, and JEE Advanced exams are used to select candidates for IISc Bangalore's BSc programme.
Yes, students from other cities can stay at the IISC Bangalore hostel. The hostel offers both double and single rooms. Beds, desks, and almirahs are provided in each room.
A general category student must obtain a rank of less than 500 in either JEE Mains or Advanced, which corresponds to a percentile of 99.995 for JEE Mains and above.
The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore offers a total of 93 courses, including 6 undergraduate courses, 56 postgraduate courses, and 31 Ph.D. programmes.
To be admitted to the UG programme at IISC, one must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at the 10+2 level. Then they are eligible to apply for the IISC programme, either through KVPY or NEET.
The candidate must have completed +2/12th grade in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Furthermore, the candidate must clear one of the national tests: KVPY/ IIT-JEE (Main) or (Advanced)/ NEET-UG.
The institute stands at 2nd position in NIRF overall ranking 2021.
