Hello Aspirant,
There is no concept of getting a free seat in IITs . You need to clear jee advanced to get into these colleges . And you need to be under atleast 2-3k to get a good branch in these IITs in these colleges.
The cut offs although varies a bit depending upon the certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of the paper.
Hello aspirant,
You must achieve a rank of at least under 1000 in order to be admitted to IIT Bombay.
You need to achieve an AJEE Advance rank of roughly 65 to be admitted to IIT Bombay's top branches, including as engineering and computer science.
You need to have a JEE rank of roughly 300 in order to be admitted to the Electrical Engineering strea m.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.
Hi,
With a rank of 29, it's highly likely that you will get a seat. As there are 105 seats across IIT-G, IIT-B and IIITDM, chances are high that you will secure a seat.
Hello ,
I hope your are doing well. As per your mentioned query, i would like to know you that if you want to get admission in IIT Bombay firstly you have to secure minimum or more than 75% in your 12th exam. After that you have to give entrance exam named JEE MAINS. If you clear this entrance exam after that you have to give the last exam for acquiring seat in IIT Bombay.

Hello,
Last year the cut off was as follows to get seat in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in Environmental Science and Engineering category wise
The cut off mentioned is the cut off in JoSAA round 6 counselling. Cut off is category specific. Cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates applied, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To check the cut off click use the link given below

To get the list of more institutes in which you may get seat you may use our JEE Advanced college predictor tool
In 2021, for a Scheduled Tribe candidate to get Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in a gender neutral seat you had to get an ST rank of 11. The trend of the rank has not changed over the years and you may expect the getting a rank of 10 is a safe score to get IITB CSE seat.
And no, you won't get any benefit of your father serving in the Army as IITs in general do not any reserved seats for such categories. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Indian Institute of Technologies are known to be very Post Graduate friendly as the fees are negligible for them and along with doing your projects, academics and research, you will also be getting a fellowship of more than 30 thousand rupees per month, which will help you even further.
IITs do not offer a Bachelor of Technology in Nanotechnology, however you can definitely take it up as your MTech or PhD. So, in general IITs will be the best bet for you in the said area. Hope I have answered your question. All the best
You need to get very excellent marks to get into IIT Bombay's MSc Physics programme. The best scorers are given admission to the programme at IIT Bombay's UR seat. In order to get a seat in the UR category, I would advise you to aim for a rank of roughly AIR 1-70. For the best chance of getting into IIT Bombay, try to earn at least a 60 on your IIT JAM physics exam. Moreover if you don't have confidence in your preparation level for 2023, then going for 2024 is always a great idea!
Till then keep practising and working hard! Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Dear Student ,
To get admission in IIT Bombay in Mechanical domain , you need to get min 592 marks out of 1000 in GATE exam as per last year cut off data base .
But , remember ,, the above cut off can differ each year for some important reasons like Seat matrix , difficulty level of exam , no of students appeared for the exam etc.
Check previous year GATE cut off details from here :

As I am completed my doctorate degree so i only saw physics and CS labs only. And they are the best labs, and the staff is very supportive. Wi-Fi speed is best in classrooms, mess, and libraries. But in hostels, we have to apply it outside. Classrooms are well structured; there is a podium and projector screens. The central library is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Sat-Sun). The reading hall is open 24/7, where you can go and study, but in the reading hall, books are not available. In my hostel, i.e., H-16. There are washing machines and one water purifier on each floor. In the hostel, there's also a mess where you will get breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Almost all kinds of sports facilities are available, and you will get chances to participate in inter-IIT sports, i.e., competitions. You will get awesome medical facilities available 24/7 that are free of cost. Even the medicine given by doctors is free of cost.
Indian institute of technology which is known for its quality education and academics excellence having a beautiful infrastructure with all the facilities which is necessary for a students is available.I love the garden and mess of college. The mess faculties are good and offer us a lot of variety in food.
The college infrastructure is excellent, with well maintained lawns, gardens with a variety of plants. There are separate blocks for each domain like life science, humanities, mba, admin. Computer lab, laboratories facilities are available along with sports.
