Hello Aspirant,
Considering you are having obc-ncl category then I would suggest that you do have chances to get into IIT Guwahati. However there are certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of the paper.
For IIT Bombay the chances are slim and a bit dicy so I would suggest you to look for other colleges too.
To get more information about the cut offs then you can check out the link given below -

In 2021, for a Scheduled Tribe candidate to get Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in a gender neutral seat you had to get an ST rank of 11. The trend of the rank has not changed over the years and you may expect the getting a rank of 10 is a safe score to get IITB CSE seat.
And no, you won't get any benefit of your father serving in the Army as IITs in general do not any reserved seats for such categories. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Indian Institute of Technologies are known to be very Post Graduate friendly as the fees are negligible for them and along with doing your projects, academics and research, you will also be getting a fellowship of more than 30 thousand rupees per month, which will help you even further.
IITs do not offer a Bachelor of Technology in Nanotechnology, however you can definitely take it up as your MTech or PhD. So, in general IITs will be the best bet for you in the said area. Hope I have answered your question. All the best
You need to get very excellent marks to get into IIT Bombay's MSc Physics programme. The best scorers are given admission to the programme at IIT Bombay's UR seat. In order to get a seat in the UR category, I would advise you to aim for a rank of roughly AIR 1-70. For the best chance of getting into IIT Bombay, try to earn at least a 60 on your IIT JAM physics exam. Moreover if you don't have confidence in your preparation level for 2023, then going for 2024 is always a great idea!
Till then keep practising and working hard! Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Dear Student ,

If we have a look at the cut-offs for the Scheduled Tribe population at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, then the cut-offs for the session 2021 were as follows:
Aerospace Engineering: 504
Chemical Engineering: 431
Civil Engineering: 149
Computer Science and Engineering: 11
So, in general these are the ranks you'll require to secure a seat at IIT Bombay. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Yes definitely! The only bottleneck is that the Indian Institute of Technologies do not offer a Bachelor of Technology course in Nanotechnology. However you can do the course as a Master of Technology degree or MTech degree at a very low price for which Indian Institute of Technologies are famous for. Moreover you'll also get a fellowship amount (around 30,000) each month as a MTech student at the IITs, so it's a great deal for you.
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Hello aspirant,
In order to get admission in IIT Bombay, you have to clear the JEE mains examination first and then the JEE advance exam. You have to clear the required JEE mains Cutoff for the respective category in JEE mains to eligible in JEE advance. Then in JEE advance you have to clear the cutoff for getting admission in core branches in IIT bombay. The candidates must have secured at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th Class Examination conducted by respective boards. For SC/ST students, there shall be a relaxation of 5% in this criterion.
Since you have not mentioned your category I am considering you as a General category student. Now, for general category student, in order to get decent branches like Aerospace, chemical, civil, mechanical, you have to score at least within 500-2000 rank in JEE advance. But for core branches like CSE you have to score within 100 rank in JEE advance.

I hope that this will help.
My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments from both academics and sports activities. It has Hostels for all the students from btech, mtech to phds so we don't have to look for the Pg outside the college.
It is not hidden from anyone about IIT Bombay and its extraordinary infrastructure, the hostels, the departments, the convocation hall, the auditoriums, the playgrounds, the student activity centre, and what not, everything is just fab.
