Thank you.
Dear B Sumit
As you had mentioned your rank AIR 315 , then by looking into previous years cutoff for
Control and computing specialization is 510 General.
OBC 459
SCST 340
So by seeing last year cutoff you should get admission into IIT Bombay.
For IIT Madras the General cutoff for control and instrumentation is 779
So you get a strong chance to get any of them with your, favourite specialization.
Congratulations IItian.
Hello Drashti
Well as per ur question the maximum rank upto which u can get into IIT BOMBAY is roughly around 4700 that too in BS CHEMISTRY.
IIT BOMBAY is among the top IITs in India or should say its the number one IIT. So to get into it and with a very good branch is one hell of a work. CS get over at around 65 and then electrical and then the rest goes on. Try getting max rank upto 1k then only u can think of a respectable branch in IIT BOMBAY.
There are about 100 seats reserved for sc category in IITB in all courses in bTech.
You should get atleast 80-90% marks in JEE advance to get rank under top 100.
Hello,
The counselling process of 2019 is progressing and the cutoffs are not released officially.
You also didn't specify the branch.
You can check the previous year cutoffs to get and idea.
You can check the cutoff of IIT Bombay using the link below,

You can check the cutoff of IIT Madras using the link below

IIT Goa started the MTech program this year. So there is no previous year cutoffs for reference.
These cutoff may vary this year depending on the difficulty level of exam, no of applicants, no of seats available etc.
Hope it helped you!
All the best!
Hello!!!
To get a seat in b.arch in IIT, your AAT(architecture aptitude test) ranking will be considered. You will be eligible for this test only when you score a rank in advance paper. Thus you just need to clear the advance paper but score a descent rank in AAT.
Below here i am mentioning iit bombay mechanical cut off (opening rank and closing rank) for sc category Female only :
Dear Sanket,
First of all, I would like to congratulate for performing well in JEE. Secondly, apology in advance since I am not well versed in Marathi but as far I understand your query is whether you qualify for JEE advance or not. You scored 50 Marks in general handicap category and according to last year's (2018) cut off for IIT Bombay for general category physically handicapped student, the score was 45, if that trend continues this year then you are pretty much all set for IIT Bombay.
Congratulations again Sanket.
