The infrastructure is like below average. No sports complex, no good library. It has computer centre but there are mostly classes going on during the day time. Also there a lot of monkeys who snatch your food and drinks in the campus.
Academics, no doubts is best. There is a competetive and growing environment. People here are more study oriented. People here are actively participating in hackathons and ideathons. There are many peeps who got STEP internship in google in 2nd year only.
Placements IS BEST. The only good thing about this college. The median package for CSE and IT branches are in between 25 to 30 lpa whereas highest is around 1 cpa. For ece branch, it stays around 22 lpa and for mae around 18lpa(not sure, check website). You can check official website of college for better clarity of placements.
The fees is relatively low. So high ROI
Campus life is not very amazing here. Not so much fests and events. They have minimal resources.
college infrastructure noy upto the markk. buildings are from the era of stone age. washroom facilities very pooŕ. sometimes water isnt available. whicj isnt right cuz access to clean drinking water is a basic n̈eed
some teachers are really good, and soʻme are very bad. also, there is also a lot of favourism among certain cerþain students when it comes to grading. rest teachers are non chalant and unbiased. . ..

I am studying information technology as i wanna be a software engineer in the future. This college has great quality of teaching. The course does make you job ready. The curriculum is updated and include all the recent developments in the field.
IGDTUW has great placements. The highest package reaches 80 lack. And the average package of this college is 20 lakh. It's packages are at power with IITs. The average package of our branch is 25 lacks.
It for sure is value for money. The fees is 1.5 lack per year.

College campus is pretty,it's very small but well maintained, Library and labs could be much better. The campus life at an average college offers a balanced mix of academics and student activities, though it may not be as eventful due to fewer fests. The daily routine revolves around attending lectures, working on assignments, and engaging in lab sessions. The academic environment is structured, with students focusing on coursework, projects, and internships. While the college may not host multiple grand fests, it still provides opportunities for students to participate in occasional cultural and technical events. These limited fests bring some excitement, allowing students to showcase their talents and unwind from academic pressure. However, the social scene may feel quieter compared to colleges with frequent large-scale events. Extracurricular activities like sports, student clubs, and skill-building workshops help maintain engagement outside the classroom. The campus may have recreational areas such as cafeterias,
Small campus but decent infrastructure. The campus is clean and hygienic and equipped with all the necessary apparatus. College provides free WiFi to all of the faculty and students that are admitted in college
I'm pursuing Btech in IT from IGDTUW and the teaching quality is okay, the teachers will provide all the necessary materials to study and due to NEP's updated syllabus, we have the opportunity to study many new and relevant subjects such as Data science, cybersecurity, web application development etc.
Placements are amazing, even kids from 2nd year are getting placed into companies like google and Adobe. The seniors who have been placed are very nice and helpful when we ask them about their experiences with interviews, OAs etc.
Very good college experience so far. The fees per year is around 1.5 lakh but the lack of fests and celebrations in college makes it feel a little dull sometimes.
Very pretty campus, small but good infrastructure, 2 canteens available and a huge ground.
this university is old but the buildings are good and strong. there is a huge grass park in between the university and there is 2 entrance to the university . there is another DU college within the university (ambedkar college) . also there is an auditorium where we had our orientation
mechanical engineering has a dedicated block which isnt that well maintained but the labs are good and the material in the lab can be old or new depending on the lab u are having , there is a subject called cad which requires computer. faculty is experienced in mechanical department and i can say that they are experienced too
igdtuw's mechanical branch doesnt promise a lot of placement and that too high . last year i saw the stats and almost 60% of the students were placed and the highest wasnt that good. if you are in tech branch then u can get good placement in this college otherwise you will have to do higher studies
again if you have tech branch then only it is value for money , for mechanical if you will work hard then why not
campus life is good , like you can join other clubs and interact randomly with people . the environment of the college is friendly yet competitive
IGDTUW is in kashmere gate , which is not a good location for a girls college to be in . college has a big ground in between and there is a sport ground which not that big , there are 2 canteens but the food served isnt that good.
the IT department's faculty is good and the teachers are helpfull . they are very polite and extends the submission date if the class isn't able to submit the assignment.the IT labs have computers which are suitable to do their job, they are a bit laggy but works fine
its a girl college so there will be a lot of competition, the placement of IGDTUW is good and promising , it is a government and that to girls college so good tech company come to improve the ratio of their company
definitely , because the fee is very low as compared to other government colleges and the ROI is good too
campus is small so there isnt much u can do in the campus but you can go to MKT or other locations after college
IGDTUW offers a strong academic foundation, vibrant campus life and excellent opportunity for women in tech. The supportive environment, skilled faculties and societies foster holistic growth.........
IGDTUW excels in academics with a rigorous curriculum, experienced faculty, and industry-aligned courses. The university emphasises practical learning, research, and innovation, preparing students for top careers.
Placements at IGDTUW are impressive, with top recruiters like, microsoft, adobe, google, and amazon hiring students. The placements cell is proactive, ensuring high packages, diverse roles, and excellent industry exposure.
outstanding
amazing
Yes, you can give the Class 12th maths exam as the Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) CET exam for the MCA course requires a certain percentile for admission. However, it is advisable to check the eligibility and requirements of the course before applying.
Yes! You can be eligible for admission at igdtuw but the key thing is that your board percentage alone doesn’t directly decide admission — your JEE Main rank and participation in JAC Delhi counselling matter most. Igdtuw does not give direct admission just based on 12th marks; it uses JEE-Main
With a JEE Mains CRL of 4 lakh and an OBC rank of 1.5 lakh, and being a female candidate from Delhi, your chances of getting into IPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University), IGDTUW (Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women), and NSUT (Netaji Subhas University of Technology) will vary
