Hello Aspirant,

For EWS category candidates, EWS rank closes around 15k for female candidates in JOSAA counselling so on such EWS rank even after considering female quota you won't be able to get any of the colleges though JOSAA counselling.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So on such EWS rank it is recommend you to either go for state counselling for autonomous government colleges or for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

Hello Aspirant,

On such SC rank even after considering female quota any of the NITs or IIITs with IT branch is tad difficult because the rank closes around 9k-10k for IT branch in IIITs and NITs.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

Hello Aspirant,

Unfortunately on such EWS rank it is very difficult to get any of the NITs even under EWS quota because closing EWS ranks were around 7k-9k for NITs/IIITs and 10k-11k for GFTIs and you are very far from it also you can see the closing EWS ranks of last year were like :-

National Institute of Technology Durgapur - Bio Technology (7788)

Institute of Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, (C.G.) - Industrial and Production Engineering (11269)

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology - Food Technology (11365)

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So on such rank and category you have no chance to get any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/GFTIs , so I would recommend you to either go for state counselling for autonomous government colleges or for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

Hi

This is quite difficult to predict but when we go through previous year trend then

>>>>> with 90k obc rank

You have very low  chances in NITs , IIITs.

For example,

--------------) NITS

Under AP home state closing rank in 6th round josaa counselling 2020, was 15819 obc rank.

Closing rank for some of the lower NITs for OBC  category under other state is provided below in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 :-

  • NIT Mizoram ,civil engineering :- 14730 obc rank

  • Nit nagaland :- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) :-  15340 obc rank

  • National Institute of Technology AgartalaProduction Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology :- 15659  obc rank

  • National Institute of Technology, Surat:-Chemistry (5 Years, Integrated Master of Science):-16453 obc rank

You can verify the above at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So, to get a seat in NIT you should get at least around 15000 - 16000 OBC rank

--------------) IIITs

You have very low chance in IIITs

For example

When we go through previous year trend then ,

Closing rank for some of the IIITs for which closing rank goes low are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 for obc category  :-

-----------) Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur:- computer science:- 15500 obc rank

-----------) Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur:- computer science :-15168 obc rank

-----------) Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur, Mechatronics Engineering:- 16682  obc rank

You can verify the above at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So, to get a seat in IIITs you should have at least around 15,000 - 16,000 OBC rank

You have chances in government engineering colleges. Some of the  government engineering colleges in which you hold a chance are listed below along with their previous year cut off link :-

-------) UJJAIN ENGINEERING COLLEGE:- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/ujjain-engineering-college-ujjain/cut-off

-------) Dr APJ Abdul Kalam UIT Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Jhabua :- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/dr-apj-abdul-kalam-uit-rajiv-gandhi-proudyogiki-vishwavidyalaya-jhabua/cut-off

-------) Indira Gandhi Engineering College, Sagar :- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/indira-gandhi-engineering-college-sagar/cut-

This has been predicted on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Thankyou

Hi,

Hope you are doing well. Congratulations for your good score. You will get NITs like NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Srinagar, NIT Manipur, NIT Mizoram, NIT Warangal with this rank in CSE. But you will not get any IIIT. You will get GFTIs like JEC Jabalpur, IET DAVV Indore, UIT RGPV Bhopal in CSE.

You can check here-

JEE College Predictor

Hope this helps

Hi

54000 rank is around 95 percentile as per our rank predictor at

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

And 54000 rank is around 14500- 15000 obc rank

With this you have,

Chances in some NITs, IIITs which are are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 for obc category  :-

  • Nit nagaland ,Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) :-  15340 obc rank

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala, Production Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology :- 15659  obc rank.

    • Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Dharwad, Electronics and Communication Engineering ( 4 Years, Bachelor of Technology):- 15280 obc rank

    • Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur, Mechatronics Engineering:- 16682  obc rank

  • You can verify the above at

    https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

You can prefer IIIT over NITs as in NITs you have chances in very low branches like production engineering whereas in IIITs you have chances in decent branches like electronics and communication.

Above prediction of is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc
