According to the category and rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the good NITs or IIITs with such branches even in CSAB counselling as per previous year's cut-offs but yes you can get some average NITs or IIITs such as NIT Hamirpur, NIT Meghalaya, IIIT Bhubaneshwar, IIIT Una and so on if you deserves the Home state quota for them otherwise I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

Yes you heard it right that the classes of IIIT Agatala are taking place in NIT Agaratala until the construction of the campus is over. IIIT Agartala is a recently established and the first batch started in 2018, that is why you can not find much resources on the internet stating placement statistics of this college.

Well the placements  of CSE dept. in IIIT Agartala is maximum as compared to other departments. Many get internships from IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Mandi, IIT BHU etc and some got internship opportunities from Coal India, Sail, NTPC etc in their second year(of 2018 batch). Almost 60% of the students got placed in internships successfully in the year 2018 and it has considerably increased the next year.(The first placement will be done for the batch of 2018-2022). The highest salary package offered was of 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered was of 4 LPA(of NIT Agaratala, the same companies will most probably conduct placements in IIIT Agartala for 2018 batch).

If we compare IIIT Agarthala and IIIT Manipur. Both are new colleges with similar placements, but if we see infrastructure and facilities provided by college IIIT Agarthala is best than IIIT Manipur.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Agarthala is established in the year 2018 it's a new college.

Placements: In this college, the placements are good. Almost 60% of the students got placed successfully in the year 2018. The highest salary package offered was of 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered was of 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities provided are very good. The hostel is very hygienic. Facilities like 24 hours water, electricity, sports and many more are provided.

Faculty: The teachers are more reactive and are having great knowledge in the engineering sector. Having highest degrees in their subject.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur is established in the year 2015.

Placements: The placements are average. About 55-60% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. LTI is one of the top recruiters. Almost 80-85% of the students got an internship in companies like Intense, Antara, etc. The highest salary package offered is around 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: They provide Wi-Fi facilities. Labs, library and classrooms are equipped with excellent features. It is one of the first colleges to execute digital experiments based on modern machinery. The hostel is good. There is a canteen in the college, and night canteen is also available in hostels which are open till 3 AM. Both indoor games and outdoor games have their own specific area.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and extremely qualified. The course curriculum is more than sufficient, and the curriculum makes students eligible for all the technical and non-technical things necessary in industries.

All these colleges are quite good.IIIT gwalior is better than iiit kottayam.For general category the opening rank is 3812 and closing rank is 8722.nearly 80 % students got placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered was 42 LPA for 3 students.The average salary package offered was 15 LPA. Top companies like microsoft , goldman sachs,dell etc..visit this campus every year.iiit gwalior is better in terms of placements than iit kottayam.Hope this information helps you.

Both are decent institute choose according to your comfort like college home distance ,

Kottayam is well known for its literacy. Study environment and heavenly climate attracts students.

Its curricular mentor is the best IIIT in India ie. International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad and administrative mentor is one of the best NIT's ie. NIT Calicut. So the reputation is ensured.

Academics : Professors are very supportive and friendly and at the same time are strict regarding their courses. The academic curriculum is same as IIIT Hyderabad. Projects are based on day to day needs

Iiit Sri city

The faculty of IIIT Sri City is good and so is the academic level. You will be as good as if not better than your top 3–4 NIT CSE/ECE friends in terms of knowledge (a generalized view).

Research is the important here. Almost every student publishes a paper here.

Placement has been good for the last two batches with average for the last batch being 8+ lpa. If you want a job, you can learn coding well here and land up a good job. If you are a great coder, you can bag 20+ lpa job too.

The campus life is getting better every year with various events and festivals being organised.
