No, the HRD ministry and NTA announced this year that 75% admission criteria for admission in NITs,IITs,IIITs and GFTIs has been removed due to the effects of Covid-19 on the board examinations.But they have clearly said that this is only implemented for this year JEE mains and advance examination

As per the previous year cutoff as a OBC category the chance seems less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs

however you can try for state counseling like Punjab, Haryana, MP, Etc.

Hello, you have not mentioned your category and rank. So it is difficult to predict a exact rank. I am assuming you to be in general category. And at this percentile chances of any NIT are very less. As you can see from some last year cutoffs at this percentile

Hey there, Your rank is good in EWS Category. You can even try for some good colleges like NITs and can even get good branches too.

Firstly try for the best NIT in your home state and then go for other NITs. That will be very much helpful for you.

it is a bit difficult for you to get into iiit as for sc reservation you should have sc rank below 1k to get into iiit or nit or gifts
