If you have a ranking of 20,000 in Economically Weaker Section and want to get an admit in Female quota then you can only get lower branches like mining engineering, mining safety engineering etc. in some remote NITs or IIITs like:

Rather than going for Anna University, I would highly recommend you to go for well reputed national institutes like Indian Institute of Information Technology Una and IIIT Bhagalpur. A brief comparison of both are as follows:

Ranking: Both are new colleges and thus unranked, but Una is a better and more beautiful place than Bhagalpur.

Placements (ECE):
IIIT Una: Highest: 44 LPA, Average: 11.01LPA
IIIT Bhagalpur: 30 LPA (CSE), Average: 8.5 LPA (all)

See, BITS Pilani (All the campuses at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad) only consider the admission of those people through the board marks scheme who have topped their respective boards exams.

For example if there are two persons, on is the 1st rank of CBSE board and the second is 2nd ranker in the same boards, then BITS will only offer the admission to the first person. If you are the topper of board, you can easily apply at BITS. All the best!

It is quite difficult to predict college and branch based on score alone. It differs year to year based on no. of students, maximum marks and toughness of paper.

However, with this score you may have a rank of about 20k-35k in general category and 8k-9k in obc ncl category.

If you got 125 marks then your percentile could lie between 94-95. And your rank somewhere between 60000-80000. since the criteria for rank and percentile changes every year depending on multiple factors. so  this is rough idea only. If you will wait for last round counselling you may get any nit or iiit or any gfti cse branch.

Well it is not possible to determine the exact rank and percentile according to your score, however we can get rough image of marks and ranking by analyzing some previous year data.

According to your marks i.e. around 90 then the rank will be anywhere in between 78000 to 87000 and corresponding percentile would be 92.05 to 92.88.
