First of all, there are a lot of factors we should keep in mind before choosing the University for taking admission for such kind of courses, as the University we are choosing should have the required approval for the course, must provide us deep and practical knowledge of core subjects, must adapt for new technologies faster and the curriculum should be revised regularly to meet the company’s standard. And then the placements also plays a very vital role in that.

Keeping all these points in mind, I would say LPU will be a better choice.

Hi, LPU is ranked 23 and CU is ranked 45 by NIRF. CU has a NAAC grade of A+. CU has more number of students intake but LPU has more number of faculty and the enrollment of students is higher means there are less seats in LPU but the number of students enrolling are higher than CU. There is no girls hostel and no library available in LPU. There are 42 B.E/B.Tech course where as CU has 33.

• Tech will have less syllabus when compared to Hons
• you need to work hard as syllabus will be deeper
• You will concentrate on particular topics in Hons where you will just have a grip on subjects in tech
• job opportunities will be equal but packages, placements will be slightly higher in Hons

SASTRA has entered into world university rankings and LPU is still trying to advertise in 9xm;p. Anyway , just as an example you need 150+ in jee to get CS/MECH at sastra if have 95%+ in 12th. No reservation and payment seats. In my opinion i think SASTRA is better

Almost all engineering branches will take you an a road full of opportunities.

So, doing computer science and engineering/IT would be the best option for doing btech from lpu.
