The admission into Engineering in LPU is based on merit in LPUNEST. The first phase applications for LPUNEST 2021 has started from January 21, 2021 and the last date to apply is February 26, 2021. The exam will be conducted from February 27 to March 6. The slot booking for the entrance exam is on February 1, 2021.

there is a separate placement cell in the campus which offers PEP classes and training for the interview of placements. There is also an entreprenaurship cell in the campus, which hepls students to start their own start-ups if they have good ideas which includes incubation centres, mentoring, associations and capacity building programs. LPU is a really good university. It has great infrastructure and good faculty members. Also the labs and research exposure is amazing and the sanctions are great in number. The university has also signed several MOUs with Universities abroad and that allows students to study for a semester or two in other universities in US and UK and even Canada. Doing a btech in food technology from LPU can turn out to be a really good option.

For admission through the jee mains examination, you should qualify the jee mains cutoff score declared by the nta. So you will need to have a score which is higher than the official cutoff. according to careers360 LPU university got 4.2 rating out of 5. And placement rating as 3.8 out 5. It is one of the famous college for its good placement results and infrastructure. In 2020, more than 630 companies visited the university for recruitment. The highest LPU Phagwara placement package was Rs 42 lakhs per annum IN 2019.

According to careers360 UPES university got 4 rating out of 5. And placement rating as 3.6 out of 5.Total UPES Dehradun Placements is 2311 in 2019 -2020. This college also known for its infrastructure and placements.

Lovely Professional University is very good in terms of placement, infrastructure, teaching quality, facilities, security. They provide the best platform for learning. They train you in acquiring soft skills, technical skills, and they provide you personality enhancement classes and industrial exposure to make you prepared as per current industrial trends. I am having my cousin in Lovely Professional University, he is pursuing M. Sc. (Food Science and Technology). He has been given a huge amount of scholarship if we come to the university, infrastructure is good, teachers are friendly, he has to attend various workshops, making his knowledge increase to a large extent. He is currently in the last semester. Around 4 months are left and he has already been placed at a good salary package. He told me about the student organizations of which he was a member. His team conducted a fundraising event so that they can provide useful things to a school and an old age home. They had organized free health check-up camp in villages. All these activities have improved his managing skills, time management, presentation skills. I noticed that after joining LPU he improved a lot. He also said that university provides a platform to the students to run their own venture, a student can avail seed money for initiating the project.
