Good Luck!
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that for admission in a B.Tech program, the candidate should have scored 75% marks or in a position in the top 20 percentile in 10+2 from a recognized board. The eligibility criteria is set by the authorities and any student who does not fulfill the criteria will not be able to get admission in B.tech program of NIT Durgapur.
I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.
Hello Pratik, NIT durgapur lacks infrastructural facilities and Jadavpur University lacks hostel facility. IIT Kharagpur has more advantages than all the remaining ones. IIEST shibpur is better for people opting research, placement wise NIT durgapur is better than IIEST but not better than IIT. The atmosphere at Jadavpur University is not so good, IIEST shibpur has good enivorment. So the order of preference is IIT kharagpur > NIT Durgapur > IIEST Shibpur > Jadhav university.
The ratings you asked for would be -
IIT Kharagpur- 9
NIT Durgapur- 8
IIEST Shibpur-7
Jadhav University -6
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
hi,
cutoff score varies from college to college and it depends on different engineering stream. however every year cutoff score slightly varies , it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level etc. every nit has 85% seat reserve for domicile candidates. remaining 15% seats are fills by all india rank wise and counselling process. follow the below link to know about nit durgapur branch wise closing ranks.

The campus boasts modern infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, and a comprehensive library stocked with the latest resources. High-speed Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the campus, facilitating seamless online learning. Hostel facilities are commendable, offering clean rooms and hygienic food. Sports complexes and recreational areas are well-maintained, promoting a balanced student life.
NIT Durgapur has some very old buildings, but the newly formed Academic block, utkarsh bhawan is very good infrastructures. Library also good. Senior hostels are little bit less maintained, but hostels for 1st year and 2nd years are good.
Not par with the NIT standard. Sports could be better, lots of unutilized area in campus. Academics is good, most professors are interactive. Good club culture, allows student to learn outside of academics.
