You mentioned that your general rank is 60826. You are a recident of West Bengal. You are looking for a seat in National institute of technology, Durgapur in CSAB round.

According to me, you have a decent chance to get Biotechnology

Hello Aayush, Badluck, No, you can't go back to 2nd round allocated seat because that seat would have been allocated to someone else in the 7th round. You can't go back to your old round seat and claim it because you have been allocated a seat in the further round.

The closing of Chemical engg. for General candidates in NIT Durgapur was 27,845 in spot round.

The closing of Chemical engg. for General candidates in BIT Mesra was 67k in spot round.

You most probably won't get Chemical Engg. at NIT Jalandhar. If

The minimum percentile require to clear JEE Mains as per NTA is 74.316 percentile respectively. 

In order to get admission into NIT for any branch the minimum percentile required is 97 for general, 94 for OBC, 92 for SC/ST category respectively. So, it will be difficult to get

With this category rank ; yes you will get admission in nit Durgapur ( with any one of the branch depending upon the other students choices and preferences) from home state quota.
