The fee structure of the NITs is set by the MHRD in consultation with the NIT Council. But tuition fees is same for all nits which is Rs. 62, 500 per annum. But other fees such as Institute fees, lab, laboratory fees may vary.

Mechanical Engineering from NIT Durgapur is a good option to go for. The infrastructure and facilities like labs and machines for the students is pretty good. Placements are also good. Faculty is satisfactory. Usually, students are happy with the course and college. Considering better branches, your interest matters
