Hello Aspirant,
See BC-E category has no reservation in NITs as it is a state level reservation provided in some states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana. But if your category is listed under central reservation list available on the official website of NCBC then you can choose your category accordingly. Otherwise your category would be considered as general/Unreserved for admission to NITs.
As we go through the latest cut-offs of 2021 then it shows that the closing CRL rank was around 35-40k for Mining Engineering branch in NIT Surathakal under Other state quota for general category female.

Hi aspirant,
National institute of Technology, Surathkal is one of the highest ranked NIT College of India. Generally this college is pretty much in demand among the candidates considering its high packages and enormous prestige. But if we go along the previous closing ranks irrespective of your category you will easily get Computer Science and Engineering at the college.
You can find the year wise closing ranks for various branches in the institute at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-surathkal
Hope it helps!
Hello,
I hope you are doing fine, Both the branches are very good. They have their own importance. If you go with ECE then you will get the job easily. But in my opinion Mechanical engineering is better than Electronics Engineering. it depends on ur interest. A mech engg is eligible to do job in any sector. whereas ece students do not have any job vacancies in their core side , usually they move for software companies.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck
Dear Reader,
Hope you are doing well
You don't need to worry about your login credentials for IRIS because when your form and seat acceptance fees are accepted by the institutes then they provide login credentials to you through registered mobile no. and also through your gmail account. If you face problem as the documents verification starts from tomorrow then you should contact to officials through contact no. and also through writing mails to them.
You can also visit the link mentioned below to know more about counselling procedure

Hope this information helps you clear your doubts regarding this.
Have a good day and great future ahead...
It may be both advantageous and disadvantageous both as top rankers in spite of going somewhere else may come to nitk for AI as it is a cse related branch which might create problem in getting good branches for lower rankers though it may make life easier for people opting for core branches as when people will get good branch they would mostly not join core branch just for college tag hence it can be both good or bad but overall for the industry it is always better.
All 3 are top institutions of india but the real fight of choosing is between nit trichy cse and iiit hyderabad ece if you are totally oriented towards cse then nit trichy is best go for it but if you can go with ece and want to innovate something then iiit hyderabad is good note that academic rigour is high in iiit hyderabad also placement wise nit trichy cse might be slight ahead so it depends on you and choose wisely.
It depends upon the college guidelines and guidelines of josaa you will have to follow that only because josaa allots verification centers for specific institutes at some prescribed places and if you go to some other place then the document verification may not take place and you might get disqualified from counselling.
The college had a big name already and it lived by it. It provided a campus considering the comfort of the students incorporating all the necessary facilities like the labs for the science and libraries.
Could be better. Hostels are old. Cleanliness could be improved. People are nice. Staff is decent. They try to do their best but they struggle to accomplish the same. No hot water. Lot of bee hives and I've been bit multiple times. Food is nice.
The course is divided into six trimesters , with three trimesters in each year . The evaluation is based on two components : 50 marks for internal components comprising assignments and presentations , and 50 marks for the end of the semester exam .
