As you have not mentioned your category, so we are assuming you as a General  category student. Now with this rank you will not get NIT Srinagar. But if you have some other reserved category or Home state quota then your chances to get a seat here increases.

If you have appeared for AIQ quota then your domicile state may be Rajasthan. But as you mentioned you have domicile certificate of J&K then you can easily apply for your preferable college with State quota. But as you have passed your 12th board exam from Rajasthan it may create difficulty. Whatever you can apply for AIQ seat.

As you have mentioned that you are from Jammu and Kashmir and you have passed only class 10th from Rajasthan so to get admission under Rajasthan domicile you must have been the resident of Rajasthan for at least 10 years but you do not fulfil this so you have to register for CSAB Counselling under J&K domicile only.

So, as you have mentioned that your domicile certificate is of J&K, so it is a matter of fact that you are eligible for all the counseling of J&K, and also the special round of CSAB counseling. But definitely, whether or not you get a seat in NIT srinagar doesn't just depends on your state of domicile, but mostly on your JEE Mains rank , and if your rank is under the cutoff rank.

State of eligibility is the state from which you have passed your class 12th board examinations from, so in your case it's Rajasthan. But that won't be an issue for you to get a seat in NIT Srinagar because your domicile certificate is still of J&K which is most important.

Join NIT Srinagar if you want to live life less ordinary.

Unlike other engineering colleges in India,life at NIT Srinagar is differernt.You will enjoy awesome weather throughout the semester.Although ranking of VIT is much better than NIT Srinagar,but NIT Srinagar is not as bad as mentioned everywhere.

At VIT you will definitely get better infrastructure and college life.

Cons of joining NIT Srinagar-

Current situation of Kashmir is known to everyone,so working of college may greately affected.

Internet is banned very often.Imagine your life at engineering college without internet.

Faculty is not up to the mark.

Anti-national activities but thats not our concern.

No well equipped laboratories.

So,if you want to study in a college of national importace then join NIT Srinagar.

The campus is connected with Jammu / Delhi by Srinagar-Jammu highway which passes through high mountain passes which are picturesque and enjoyable, and can be covered in about 7-8 hours by a private taxi/car. The Institute is having a lush green campus spread over 67 acres of land on the banks of world-famous Dal Lake.
