NIT JALANDHAR - TEXTILE:-51k

But your rank is far from that range hence it would be impossible for you to get the admission.

Yes if you are interested in metallurgy then getting a seat at a privileged college like NIT Srinagar is a good choice. But if you score good enough in JEE Mains then you must go for NIT Warangal. NIT Warangal will be a better choice for doing metallurgical engineering. But if the case is that you want to pursue your B.Tech at  NIT Srinagar then just go for it. Hello, both are good colleges and old Nit.
But this also depends on your interest in which branch you have interest.

In my opinion you should go with Nit Agartala Mechanical Engineering. As Nit Agartala is highly reputed and highly ranked Nit in Nirf ranking.
Placement wise, Infrastructure wise and faculty wise you will find good opportunity here.

Nit Srinagar campus is very good but mechanical engineering from Nit Agartala is a very good option.
If you study well, you will get good opportunity for placements.

You should have mentioned your category that from which category you have secured this much rank.
Now as you told you got AIR 24204, then, assuming you as general category, so, congratulations you can easily get nit srinagar, even if you belong from other state.
Now as you want computer science and engineering branch then the chances are little difficult if you belong from other state.

Because last year the cutoff closing ranks for computer science and engineering branch for general category other state student was :-

MALE STUDETS - 23198
Female students - 34110

So you can get cse easily if you belong are a female candidate belonging from other state. But if you are male candidate then chances ate little difficult.

Now if you want to take electronics and communication engineering branch in nit srinagar, then you can get easily get that.
The last year cutoff closing ranks for ece branch for general other state candidates are :-

Male candidate - 33388
Female candidate - 42297.

So you can easily get ece branch in nit Srinagar.

Now as far as your category change is concerned, I would like to say that your category cannot be changed at the time of counselling. You should have entered it correctly at the time lf registeration itself or needed to correct it while the correction window was opened. So during counselling it cannot be changed.

Their civil engineering course is a 4 year full time course and requires 85015 jee main cutoff rank. Their fees for the course is Rs 5.53 lakhs and their median package is around Rs 7.31 lakhs.
