Sorry but based on your rank ie 96K you will not alloted any college in JOSAA, you can try in your home state quota other wise no chance.

Both are good institutes , but cs will provide you with more opportunities as compared to IT,

and you can choose any one of them as per your strengths in subjects related to that of these two branches .

Obviously ECE from NIT Srinagar is better because JNU has a very bad reputation and also B.Tech is started from this year only. So go for NIT Srinagar.
