You didn't mention your category so i assume that you are a general category student. So if you want computer science and engineering stream in PES University then you have to rank under 500 in KCET entrance examination. Because closing rank for general category student is 537 in KCET.

You haven't mentioned your quota. So considering it as general category it's quite hard to get a seat in PES University in CSE branch. As in last few years the cutoff was around 1500, so with 2000 it's quite impossible. But there's still some hope of getting ECE or EE.
