According to your rank you can't get Computer science but if willing to take any other courses like mechanical engineering or electrical engineering there is a chance to get seat because your rank is not bad.

No doubt both of the univesrity is good. But on comparing them side by side, you will find "Symbiosis Institute of Tehnology" is better.

Since everything has both pros and cons too. Keeping this in mind if you will see PESU has 'Grade A' NAAC score whereas Symbiosis has 'None'.

I think it is difficult to get cse in PESIT with that rank because according to previous year data no one getting this college with this rank but still college seat is also depend on the category from which he belong the the state quota is also consider so

According to your score you can get all the branches except Computer Science.

You can apply for any other branch but still there is a little bit of chance to get CS as you are pretty much close to the Closing rank of Cs.

According to previous year trend you will get ECE or Civil both in the PES university generally ECE close on 5160 and civil is close on 20,000. But chance og getting ECE is quite tough. But don't worry this is the data which is based on previous year.
