While everyone will inform you about the great placements, there are other things too:

Because college has  Excellent records for placement.Computer science placements are over 90 percent.In the season of placement all the big tech giants visit the campus.The highest offered salary package was 38 LPA and the lowest offered salary package

To be honest, Thapar University is a little expensive compared to some other universities. The academic fees is about 1.5 lakhs per semester, and hostel fee is about 45000 per semester. Mess fee costs around 16000 per semester, and on an average, each semester costs around 2 to 2.15
