Yes you can get admission in thapar, because thapar is a private university and if you have given the jee mains exam then you are eligible for the admission in thapar University.

In general category, it is difficult to get thapar university you need at least 140 marks to get it.It may be possible to get any less preferred branch.You can try for state colleges which accept jee main.

Great infrastructure with amazing labs, world class state of the art classrooms, good sporting facilities and great hostels and mess food. Well connected to the city with railway station and bus stand within walking distance from college campus

Thapar has a modern and well-maintained campus with good hostel facilities and a clean environment. Classrooms are air-conditioned and labs are well-equipped. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The library is spacious and has a good collection of books.
