Basically, it depends on the cutoff score from which you can qualify to write JEE Advanced. 

So, I am sorry that I cannot give a fixed answer right now. You may or may not get admission.

Like any other private engineering colleges offering Mtech, Thapar university too would be filled only after IITs and NITs, so expected cutoff levels are less compared to preferred colleges.

It would safely be upto a GATE score of 450-500 and high chance of obtaining a seat. Though there will be a separate entrance exam if all seats couldn't get filled via GATE.

To get into Thapar University the last year cutoff was 70marks. The rank will surely vary every year and also try to get as much as can. The score of 80-90 will surely help you to get admission into thapar university. Also, if you consider your percentage you have to get more than 80 to get admission.Hope this answer will definitely help you
