      Campus is good

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of my course was average, with basic facilities like labs and Wi-Fi only provided in labs. A library was also available, but they were not always maintained or up to date. The hostel facilities provided were also very poor, and the canteen food had limited options with average taste.

      Academics

The faculty of my course was moderate in terms of knowledge, but the overall teaching was quite bad. More than conceptual teaching, they believed in memorizing the theory rather than understanding the concepts, and the curriculum is also not updated.

      Placements

The placement scenario was not up to the mark and was quite poor. Only a small percentage of students were placed, with limited companies visiting the campus, and the highest and the lowest packages offered were significantly low. The average package was disappointing as well.

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure and the hostel is the only issue of the college. The college lacks proper ground for extra curricular activities. The girls hostel is in the campus and the boys hostel is 2km away. The food is average and Wi-Fi facilities are not good, it does not work all the time.

      Academics

The curriculum is well designed, but only for computer Science branch. This college is a bit strict according to academics. The passing percentage is also around 40%. Teachers are mostly good and there are some who know wrong in a programme and will tell you to debug it yourself whenevee they know how to do it.

      Placements

Placements are good and all of the students get placed. This year the highest package was around INR 32 LPA, and the average package was around INR 6 LPA. This year good companies also came and 3-4 students got placed with INR 16 LPA- INR 22 LPA. College placement cell is very nice, and they work very hard.

      Well-structured courses with hands-on experience

      College Infrastructure

BNM Institute of Technology has an average campus with multi- utility infrastructure. There is a Wi-Fi support and the labs are well-equipped. The hostel facilities, food facilities, medical services along with the sports activities are below satisfactory levels.

      Academics

BNM Institute of technology holds a faculty of well qualified and well trained lecturers with over 5 years of experience. The curriculum considers an alignment with the industry trends, practical application of skills with inclusion of hands on projects and internships.

      Placements

The total percentage of the students placed this year is around 49%. The academics is still running and the number will increase by another 20-30% making it reach nearly 60-75%. The average package offered in the college is 10 Lacs with the highest beings is 30 Lacs and the lowest being 5.5 Lacs. Almost all of the students will get internships by the end of this year.

      Good placements and career guidance

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is not generally liked by students due to being situated near residential areas and also having a very small campus area. Classrooms are decent for mostly all blocks. The hostel is fine but the fees are higher than at nearby PGs and hygiene is not maintained that much.

      Academics

As of now, the professors we've got are highly educated and have a good command in their domain except 1 or 2; majorly all are good. Curriculum is relevant and good for our future needs and to build basic fundamentals for us. The difficulty is pretty much due to the course and the pressure of many theory and practical exams. So, if you're not interested, just think once before joining.

      Placements

Many people from my course take placement in IT jobs, as half of the population coming to our college for this branch is people who are either confused between hardware and software or they prefer software. So, for getting placed in our branch, people need to learn extra skills like DBMS, OS, all coding languages and so on. For core people, you need to work really hard to get placed and need to maintain a good CGPA with practical skills.

      College Infrastructure

Don't know about the hostels, but the canteen is good. Infrastructure is also good; classrooms are decent, labs are well-maintained, and the library is also good with a good variety of books. The reason I gave 3 stars is that the ground is as big as a kindergarten ground, with very little space and fewer sports facilities. The auditorium and seminar hall are damn good.

      Academics

The teachers are good and helpful. The library has the textbooks we need, and our exams are conducted on tabs, which you mostly can't expect in any other normal private college in Bangalore. Exams are tough, so you need to study daily if you want to survive.

      Placements

Almost 80 percent got placed, and the rest went for higher studies. Actually, electrical batches are also getting good placements. AEEE students got 18.75 LPA, and ECE got around 15 LPA. Both ECE and EEE median packages are also around 7 LPA, which is not bad for core batches in India, especially in normal core branches.

One of the best college for academic guidance and placements

      College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is above average, the classrooms are a bit out dated, but the seminar halls and auditorium is really amazing. All the labs are well maintained. The library is a one of the best areas, there is also a digital library with 40+ desktops. The whole campus is very clean and well maintained.

      Academics

The academic curriculum is one of the best in the vtu university, it reaches all the industry standards. The syllabus is designed by top experts, to ensure the best for all the students. Moreover, all the skills required for a student are groomed well enough.

      Placements

The placements are above average, almost more than seventy-five percentage of placements take place. The placement cell is working for the welfare of the students , in all the days they can, the highest package bagged was 41 lpa.

      Value for Money

My course costs around 3 lakh per annum, it is worth the money, as the college provides various types of opportunities possible to all the students. Furthermore, the overall experience is good enough to make it valuable.

Great for learning and exposure to the outside world.

      College Infrastructure

College Infrastructure is pretty good and the main advantage is that it is in the heart of the residential area and which makes it pretty safe and sound at the same time, there are 4 buildings namely- S, M, N & A. Classrooms are well lit and spacious. Labs are neatly maintained.

      Academics

The curriculum is through and regularly updated each and every semester according to the demands of the Industry standards. Now a days, even the Matlab course is also introduced to make the coding simpler but I think it is making tough as we currently need to learn Python and IoT coding aside from Matlab.

      Placements

Placements similar to other colleges in our college to the placements is 100% for the core IT branches and E&C branch. Also, you need to have necessary skills such as Coding and the Trouble-shooting.

      Value for Money

It is great only if you come via KCET or at least COMED-K and NOT BY Management.

      Campus Life

The Campus life is beautiful but the major issues are regarding the Information of the Activities/Seminars/Events/Workshops are not informed on prior notice and also, if you're workload increases exponentially if you join two or three clubs. Also, the number of clubs which you can join is over 15 clubs.

      Hi Zeeshan,
Your DCET rank is 7500 and the cutoffs for the colleges you applied to are below your rank, so that’s why you didn’t get a seat in the 1st round.
