Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hello Student,
A score of 93.7 percentile is a it low. Due to the competition increasing by the minute everyday, the need for scoring higher marks and scores keep increasing more and more. Hence, unfortunately the top nits and IITs would be tough to get into with this score. Also other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes ( CFTIs) such as the IIITs also would be a bit tough. There might be some chances of you getting into newer NITs such as NIT Andhra Pradesh or NIT Pondicherry into courses that are relatively lesser in demand such as metallurgy.
There are some other universities into which you have a good chance of getting into. Hence I would suggest you to apply for other universities. CBIT is a good university for courses like Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics Engineering. But due to the high competition it would be advisable to apply to other universities.
Some other good universities with this rank would be:
1. SSN College of Engineering, Chennai
2. SASTRA Deemed to be University, Thanjavur
3. Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh
4. Delhi University
5. Shiv Nadar University
6. VIT, Vellore
7. Manipal Institute of Technology

Hello ramya,
Your category also plays an important role in determining the college and rank, as you didn't mention it, I am assuming that you are from open category and As per the marks that you had mentioned in ipe and eamcet, your overall percentile is 47.22 and your estimated rank is between 30,000 to 34,000.kindly note that this prediction is based on previous data and variations occur every year due to various factors.
For this rank it is not possible to get a seat in cbit as the previous cutoff's for that college is below 10,000.
If you belong to reserved category then you can get a seat for groups like chemical, production engineering etc
Here's a link for your college prediction which will be very helpful in determining which colleges can you get based on the rank you scored
Hope this helps
Good luck

Hello student,
Usually you can get colleges like cbit, vasavi or sreenidhi using TS eamcet marks and TS eamcet counselling. If you want to join those colleges through JEE Mains, it is called B-category. Only private colleges accept admissions through B-category. For applying to a college through B-category you have to contact their college about the admission process and take the next needful steps. Keep checking the official websites of the colleges regularly for updates regarding B-category,
Hello,
On the basis of rank, there is good chance to get admission into Chaitanya Bharti Institute Of technology.
closing rank for B category boys :-
These are round 1 cutoff. You have chance to get in later round of counselling. it would be better to give CBIT as your first priority in college list. in addition to it, give government engineering college option where you will surely get admission.

Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.
I'm extremely sorry to say that with your percentile i.e 64.56 , which is approximately ranked more than 1,00,000 , it's not really possible to get a seat in most of the branches in CBIT , for BC B category. But don't be disheartened, you still have lots and lots of options available to you, that you can choose , to know about all the colleges you can get in with your rank, you can get it here:

Hello Student,
Yes, 43000 is a very good rank and This means you have pretty good chances in CBIT or vasavi. But according to last year cutoff a rank below 30000 will fetch you a seat in core branches such as computer science engineering, electrical engineering, eletronics and communication etc.
You might have chances to get into these branchs but in third round of counselling or so.But when it comes to getting through the college tyou have pretty good chances. Kindly attend the counseliing.
Here are the few other colleges you can try:
1. JNTUH college of engineering
2. CVR college of engineering
3. Vardhaman college of engineering
4. Vasavi college of engineering
5. University college of engineering, osmania university
6. Mahatma gandhi institute of technology
7. Kakatiya institute of technology

Wi-Fi is not available throughout the college. Wi-Fi is not even available in classrooms. We have LAN in labs, that's it. The quality of food is decent. It's better to go to other private hostels nearby rather than the college hostel. Daily, the same routine food. Sports facilities are available and are supported
It's an old college with all the old infrastructure but it's good actually. Now our college is under construction, where they are building washrooms so hygiene will be good in our college in the future. Hostel food is average-just stable. We have a small clinic like thing in our college. Sports and games are supported and given importance.
Infrastructure of our college is pretty decent, with clean washrooms. Lab facilities are good but can be a little better. Library is worth studying and upskilling. Some classrooms lack the required number of fans. Hostel facilities are not bad. Mess food is better than any other hostels. Sports facilities are better.
