Hello Student,

A score of 75% in CRL is a bit low of a rank. It depends on the percentile. Due to the competition increasing by the minute everyday, the need for scoring higher marks and scores keep increasing more and more. Hence, unfortunately the top nits and IITs would be tough to get into with this score. Also other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes ( CFTIs) such as the IIITs also would be a bit tough. There might be some chances of you getting into newer NITs such as NIT Andhra Pradesh or NIT Pondicherry into courses that are relatively lesser in demand such as metallurgy.

There are some other universities into which you have a good chance of getting into. Hence I would suggest you to apply for other universities. CBIT is a good university. But due to the high competition it would be advisable to apply to other universities.

Some other good universities with this rank would be:

1. SSN College of Engineering, Chennai

2. SASTRA Deemed to be University, Thanjavur

3. Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh

4. Delhi University

5. Shiv Nadar University

6. VIT, Vellore

7. Manipal Institute of Technology

Hi Meghana,

I am sorry to say that with 77.30 percentile in JEE Mains, despite being an OBC Candidate, it would be difficult to get admission through CBIT. But, I will suggest you go for the counseling and wait until the spot round if you don't have any other better options.

Hello student,

if you want to get a seat in a college through JEE Mains, then it is called B-category and the number of seats and eligibility for b-category purely depends on the college you are applying to.The college will take the final decision. For applying to a college through B-category you need to contact the college through phone and website or wait for the notification through news or newspaper. But your JEE mains percentile is not enough to get a seat in top colleges like CBIT

Coming to your eamcet rank, it is difficult for you to get a seat either in Vasavi or cbit.

Hello student,

Only colleges like IITs, IIITs and GFTIs participate in JOSAA counselling. State colleges do not participate in JOSAA counselling. To get a seat in CBIT, you need to write TS eamcet and participate in TS Eamcet counselling . if you want to get a seat in a college through JEE Mains, then it is called B-category and the number of seats and eligibility for b-category purely depends on the college you are applying to.

Hello student,

If you want to take admission into local colleges through JEE Mains, then that process is called B-category. You can apply to private colleges in telangana state through your JEE Mains score. But for that you need to wait till the respective colleges release B-category notification. You need to frequently keep checking the college official website regularly and even contact the college either by personally visiting the college or contacting them through phone or else you might miss the chance because some colleges don't release the notification through newspaper. You colleges even charge extra fees if you join their college through B-category and not through respective state counselling.Hope your query is answered

Modern labs and practical training

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

Wi-Fi is not available throughout the college. Wi-Fi is not even available in classrooms. We have LAN in labs, that's it. The quality of food is decent. It's better to go to other private hostels nearby rather than the college hostel. Daily, the same routine food. Sports facilities are available and are supported

Hands on learning with expert faculty

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

It's an old college with all the old infrastructure but it's good actually. Now our college is under construction, where they are building washrooms so hygiene will be good in our college in the future. Hostel food is average-just stable. We have a small clinic like thing in our college. Sports and games are supported and given importance.

Innovative curriculum for job readiness

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of our college is pretty decent, with clean washrooms. Lab facilities are good but can be a little better. Library is worth studying and upskilling. Some classrooms lack the required number of fans. Hostel facilities are not bad. Mess food is better than any other hostels. Sports facilities are better.
