Hello student. 87 percentile is a good score to fetch you the seat in cbit college. Since the number of students who give exam and number of students who attend counselling increase every year, we cannot be sure about it. If any reservation/ category or any state quota exists, your chances will improve.

We understand your situation but there is a procedure to get admission in a college, if you want to get admission then you need to follow the procedure. To get admission in Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad you must appear in TS EAMCET. Candidates who secure a rank below 10,000 will get free seat irrespective of their category. There are other ways to join in CBIT, one is under Management quota and another under B-Category. For management quota you don't need to appear in any entrance test but you have to pay additional donation for management quota seat and you may not choose this way. You can get admission under B-category seats for that you need to appear in JEE Main and get a decent rank but you may not get fee reimbursement. So the only way left is through TS EAMCET.

Weightage is given for marks marks scored in PCM in class 11 and class 12 plus marks scored in EAMCET. The weighate given is 25% IPE and 75% EAMCET marks. So you should prepare for TS EAMCET and secure a rank below 10,000. You should aim for 120-135 marks to get such rank.

In CBIT he or she should have around 20k to 50k rank in open category, but it changes with the branch you select. As we know that getting cse and ECE seats are difficult but for remaining branches you can the seat for the above mentioned rank. You should take less rank to get cse.

Based on this percentile your rank would be between 110000 to 120000. With this rank it is difficult for you to get top branches there as the cutoff is not as much lower as your rank. Considering rank formula, you rank will be around 1 Lakh or above. So with this rank it is pretty difficult to get CBIT considering previous year cutoffs(General Category).

For CSE jee main AIR should be around 25000 and for MECH AIR is 40000 for IT AIR IS 60000.

You can get Chemical or Civil or may be Electrical.
