HERE IS THE CBIT CUTOFF AS PER RANK.

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology is indeed a good institute for Chemical Engineering. The course is backed up by renowned faculties. In terms of education, infrastructure, CBIT is pretty good standing with 100 NIRF Rank. But the placements for chemical engineers are not so impressive. Most of the placements are for IT branches and few of the chemical engineers are also selected by IT companies like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Infosys etc. Few students from chemical engineering get hired in Hetero Pharma, Aurobindo Pharma, Dr. Reddys Laboratories, Orient Cements etc. However, the salaries offered are quite good, on an average, 3.5 to 4.5 lpa. There is good scope for internships. The college helps in that. CBIT is good in terms of education and if you are thinking for higher studies then CBIT can help you a lot.

Hello Harshith

For getting admissions in CBIT Btech CSE through management quota you might have to spend more than 10 lakhs as donation. Though the donation amount for management quota seats keep changing depending in the number of seats available and also the demand of the course.
You should contact the college to know get the details.

Thank you.

About chrmical engineering in Cbit--

The biggest USP is that most of the lecturers are having 20+ years of teaching chemical engineering and have an exemplary command over the subject. The syllabus is well structured and you do have many specialisation subjects which you can opt for, starting from third year.

The lab facilities are good compared to any other state college. The faculty are very welcoming in helping out students with course work and also encourage them to take up internships and projects with continuous assistance and support.

The best career path post UG is to take the MS route as the job market here is not only narrow but also low paying. Doing an MS in this field will surely give that jump in your career.

Concluding my thoughts, I would definitely like to acknowledge the fact that I was very fortunate to take this career path post intermediate and have thoroughly enjoyed being a student of this field of study.

Good luck!!

Hi,

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) college is situated in Gandipet, Hyderabad.

Since you are a SC Candidate, you require only 40% in your 12th Grade, so you are eligible.

The eligibility criteria to get into the Undergraduate programs are as follows:

1. Passed 10+2 or equivalent with PCM/PCMB as your subjects

2. A minimum of 45% is required (40% for reserved category) in 12th Board Exam or equivalent

Further ahead, TS EAMCET will be considered in the counselling process.

Hope this helps, All the best!

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you can get into CBIT through jee main score.

There is a round called B category admission in which you can have the opportunity to grab the
seat.

You can also try for Spot round too. As the cut off decreases you will have more chances to get the seat if your rank is below 50k.

Only a few seats are offered through Jee Mains in Chaitanya Bharathi Institute Of Technology, Hyderabad. So the cutoffs will be quite high . you must have a rank within 15,000 to 20,000 if you want to get into CSE

For other branches the cutoffs can go up to 50,000 rank.

Hope it helps.

All the best

Cheers !!

Thank you!!

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology is one of the best engineering colleges in Hyderabad. So the cutoffs are usually high. Now going by previous year cutoffs, a rank within 1700 can fetch you a seat in CBIT in computer science branch. Now this is last year's data and this year the cutoffs might change. So try to get a rank within 1500.

You must know that admission in Osmania University or JNTUH is done done done on the basis of JEE mains score.

The admission to these BTech courses is made through Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET).

So just work hard for you entrance exam and all the best!!

Hello,

In 2019 the cut off was as follows for JNTU, Hyderabad for SC category

  • EEE: 11617
  • ECE: 8621

CBIT

  • ECE: 10741
  • EEE: 16778

Considering this you need to secure rank within 20,000. So to secure such rank you need to score 80-90 marks and you must have 550 or above marks out of 600 in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in first and second year. But cut off in 2020 changes depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam etc.

We have EAMCET packages to help you with your preparation https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-ts-eamcet-april/#:~:text=Why%20%E2%80%9CKnockout%E2%80%9D%20package%3F,for%20TS%20EAMCET%20online%20exam.

Hello,
The chemical engineering branch at CBIT is very good. The lecturers in the branch are having more than20+ years of experience. Also, the facilities like laboratories, libraries, classrooms, etc are very well equipped.
In terms of placements, most of the students are placed in the IT sector such as Wipro, TCS, etc. Very few core companies visit the campus. Therefore, the placement in the core sector is quite less. The best option would be to go for masters in the field.

Hope it helps

College Infrastructure

Wi-Fi is not available throughout the college. Wi-Fi is not even available in classrooms. We have LAN in labs, that's it. The quality of food is decent. It's better to go to other private hostels nearby rather than the college hostel. Daily, the same routine food. Sports facilities are available and are supported

Hands on learning with expert faculty

College Infrastructure

It's an old college with all the old infrastructure but it's good actually. Now our college is under construction, where they are building washrooms so hygiene will be good in our college in the future. Hostel food is average-just stable. We have a small clinic like thing in our college. Sports and games are supported and given importance.

Innovative curriculum for job readiness

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of our college is pretty decent, with clean washrooms. Lab facilities are good but can be a little better. Library is worth studying and upskilling. Some classrooms lack the required number of fans. Hostel facilities are not bad. Mess food is better than any other hostels. Sports facilities are better.
