CBIT Hyderabad All Questions

Hello aspirant, 

One should go for CBIT(IT) unless he or she wants a CSE tag .

But,CSE and IT are quite closely related branches. So what you should consider is the value that is added to your Engineering CBIT does have a brand name,tjr campus is also good.The placements and internships are well off.

Dear Aspirant, 

The seats given via JEE score are known as B-Category seats. There around 10-15% of seats only reserved. Generally the cut offs here depend on the factors such as difficulty  of paper, comparing the scores of candidates applied. Hence it is heighly unpredictable. However the general trends are given below. 

CBIT has cut offs that are not in favor i.e around 7000 in general. 

MGIT has cut off around 10,000 in general for both branches required. 

Vasavi has got higher demand and it's ranks are lower too i.e around 9000.

KMIT located in middle of the city has the cut off trends around 13,000.

Hence you need to keep an detailed view about the updates from all cilleges and the cut offs they declare depending on the candidates merit.

It may be a little difficult to get into OU or JNTU Hyderabad but you can definitely get Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology as their closing rank lies somewhere near 14500 and Vasavi college of Engineering as their closing rank lies somewhere near 14600. But you can definitely wait for the subsequent rounds of counseling so you can get the best possible college for your rank.

Both are top colleges of Telangana. But for mechanical engineering I would prefer you to choose VNR Vignana Jyothi. The college has a very good rating and is visited by top companies with good packages even for core departments such as Civil and Mechanical. All the best. Hope you make the right decision.

You have secured a high rank but there is a possibility for you to get in CBIT as you belong to SC category. The closing rank for civil engineering department in CBIT is 38k. For SC category there is fee reimbursement but the student is required to pay for transport(if needed),records,practicals and for final exams. All the best

Hello aspirant. As you mentioned that your rank is 14000 in TS eamcet there might be chance of getting admimission in both the colleges. The most important thing is that getting an admission in engineering college is mainly based on your category.As you didn't mention your category we cannot say thatyou can get admission in particular college.Category plays a key role to get admission in engineering college.

I recommend you to take Mechanical admission at CBIT rather tha VNR VJIET because, CBIT is ranked at 100 th by NIRF MHRD Government Of India. It is rated as AAAA by Careers360. while VNR VJIET is ranked after CBIT in NIRF rankings. The placements at VNR comes only for CSE students mostly and that too highest package is only 13 lakhs. The highest pay package at CBIT is 21 lakhs per annum. Most of the core companies visit CBIT. The tution fee at CBIT is around 2,00,000/- per annum. The hostel fee is around 60,000. The top companies that visit this college are: IBM, Hyundai, Tata, Amazon, CTS, TCS, Accenture, CapeGemini, etc.  The average pay package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum. Based on this rank and profile, it is highly unlikely for you to get a seat in CHAITANYA BHARATHI INST OF TECHNOLOGY for MBA, because as per last year's cutoff the closing rank for BC A category students in MBA course was around 3000 which is difficult for you to qualify. However, you may get a seata in other colleges.
