DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology, Palamu Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has a Hostel for boys, which is a home away from home for nearly 100 students hailing from different states all over the country. Adequate leisure is ensured to the hostilities by way of the General Library, Entertainment Centre, Indoor and Outdoor Sports facility and even a gymnasium Well furnished rooms with an accommodation choice of single, double, and triple occupancy are available. The College provides both residential hostel and lodging home accommodations to the students separately for boys. The residential hostel is managed by a teacher-warden appointed by the Principal. Admissions are made on a first come first served basis and every inmate is to conduct himself/herself as per prevailing rules and regulations. The right of admission and right of expulsion rest with the authorities.

The College provides a collection of books and other reading material of all related subjects to develop a comprehensive collection of information required for teaching and reference purposes to meet the present and future needs of its users.

The College has a playground with indoor and outdoor game facilities.

The College has an excellent computer center. It allows the students/faculty to copy the latest information and technology in relevant fields with the wifi campus.

The College has a canteen situated on the premises of the institution and sufficient care is taken to ensure that healthy and wholesome food is served during working hours.

The College has an excellent transport facility for the faculty, staff, and students with a flexible and competitive fare. The institute buses are operated on different routes in Daltonganj. The route may be extended on the availability of staff & students. The transport facility remains available for any kind of emergency round-the-clock.

The college is supported by round wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi) of 100 Mbps and has a strong backbone of 10 access point links throughout the campus which covers each and every corner of the campus including the hostel(boys/girls). With the help of this, the students can access online information anywhere in and around the campus using their Laptops even after normal college hours. 

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Mechanics Lab, Thermal Engineering Lab, Design Engineering Lab, and Hydraulic Engineering Lab.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
