The experience has been good so far.

    College Infrastructure

The campus is exquisite with well developed classrooms, fully equipped labs with latest instruments, enormous playgrounds, fresh air everywhere. There are different buildings for all courses allowing a good intake of students in each branch.

    Academics

I am studying information science at dsce. The ise faculty is said to be one of the best in bangalore here at dsce, the curriculum corresponds to present day skills needed and i believe by the end of third or fourth year ill be job ready.

    Placements

The placement quality is fairly good at dsce. Various companies visit the campus and take atleast 40-50% of the students atleast for an internship (10-20% apply for higher studies and outside campus placements too) so the intake number is not bad. The highest recorded placement was around 55 lpa this year. College is very supportive in this matter as well hosting seminars to make us interview ready.

One of best in terms of campus life

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at DSCE is one of its strong points. The campus is spacious, clean, and well maintained. Classrooms are decent, and most labs are properly equipped for practical learning. The library is large and has enough books and study space, especially during exam time. There are separate buildings for different departments, which keeps things organized. The campus also has good greenery, sports facilities, and common areas to relax between classes. Overall, the infrastructure creates a comfortable and positive environment for students to spend long academic days.

    Academics

Engineering are fairly structured and disciplined. Most of the professors have good subject knowledge and are helpful if you approach them outside class hours. The syllabus is mostly followed as per the university guidelines, and regular internal assessments help students stay consistent. Some subjects are taught really well, while a few depend a lot on self-study. Overall, if a student attends classes regularly and puts in personal effort, it’s possible to build a strong academic base here. The environment supports learning, but results mainly depend on how serious the student is.

    Placements

Placements at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering are decent and improving every year. Many well-known companies visit the campus, especially for IT and core engineering branches. The placement cell actively conducts training sessions, mock interviews, and aptitude classes to prepare students. While top packages are offered to a limited number of students, average packages are reasonable for most branches. Students who work on their skills, internships, and projects generally get good opportunities. Placement success here depends a lot on individual effort along with the support provided by the college.

    Value for Money

If ur kcet or comedk it's pretty reasonable but if you are taking management it doest make much sense to spend around 25-30 lakhs

    Campus Life

It's amazing we have lot of fun the parking is amazing and all the hangout spots are great very good to socialize with friends and stuf

It has been really fun till now

    College Infrastructure

Best part about the college is the infrastructure. It has all the necessary equipments required. The classrooms are spacious, laboratories are well equipped, libraries are digitalized and the hostels are well managed. I find this college a bit behind sports wise. You will find people from all corners of India. The grounds and courts are not maintained. But overall its a great college.

    Academics

Im currently in my first year in BE artificial intelligence and machine learning. Because obviously its in demand and I find it interesting. The quality of teachers are good. All the teachers are qualified. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.

    Placements

The college holds a strong placement record with an active training and placement cell that helps the students connect to the industry. Top recruiters are Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture, Cognizant, Bosch etc. The placement statistics are good with the highest package of 56 Lpa and the average packages generally in the mid range

The campus is pretty huge with different buildings for different branches. There is a lot of greenery on the campus and it is built on a hill so it is very peaceful too. The campus is also equipped with a big library and there are many sports fields for all kinds of sport activities. The living spaces are clean and hygienic too.

    Dayananda Sagar - My PoV

    College Infrastructure

Yes the infrastructure of the college is overall under Very good category. It has all the necessary labs, well-quipped with computers, equipments and machinery. Though the teaching staffs is lacking, I mean, there are a shortage of teachers, and there is workload on each person inside the college. Our classrooms are wel-equipped with projectors, screns, pullbars, enough student capacity to accomodate the whole class, there is WI-FI service in hostels only. The department wi-fi is provided only during special events like Hackathons, and pother department events. The college has a ver lush green campus, with plenty of free and relaxed sitting areas, and regular cleaning, sanitation is maintained. Hygiene is maintained, and there is no sort of garbage dump anywhere. SOme place are ther where garbage is dumped so those areas are gross, and sometimes they burn these trash which produce a lot of smoke which is affective only to hostellers because it is doen after college hours.

    Academics

I would rate the academics as okayish. the syllabus is great and according to the latest trends, there are very less boring syllabus part and they are up-to-date with the latest trens. But the teachers are such, and in such a limited period of time they are unable tp deliver the full potential which is required fr the topic. thereafter everyone runs short of time for completing the syllBUS ND THEn, it happens like we have to rush, and no one is being bothered about learning. Then, exams become necessary...

    Placements

Yes, just like an average tier-3 college. Our college brings companies, have many MOUs signed with top MNCs but they dont offer any vacancy to the college students. They show the stats as many companies visited, offers are being given, but students ere unable to grab and they offer in around 6-8-10 LPA on an average. Average package here is 7-8 LPA for my department. This year ECE, ET department did really well offering 20+LPA to many students....

    Value for Money

ROI is very Low. I mean there are different quotas for fee structure.. There is COMEDK in which Im in paying 3lpa to this college. SO a total of 12.5 LPA including exam fees and all, and getting 6-7-8 LPA, it is lesser than 100% so in my Point of View it is very less. Then there is KCET quota in which they pay 80k per annum, see the difference, so they be getting placed even at 6 LPA after paying just 3.2L, they have a 200% ROI. Then there is one more SNQ quota for these karnataka Students in which they pay in around only 40k rupees, making their ROI ultra boosted at 400%. So, for me it is. BIG LOSE. I' getting my father's hard earned money wasted but this college is very great for these KArnataka home state students.

    Campus Life

Campus life is more about people. There is a lot of diversity, so we got to know about various people and their cultures. WHile talking about the campus, it has many events being hosted every month by different departments , regular hackathons,... The campus offers canteens, free sitting areas, basketball court, a big playgroound though multipurpose. The college is in central Bengaluru, the area is very safe there is nothing such seious case but yes outside the college it is a very accident prone road. Our college runs a hospital too, SAGAR Hospital so emergencies are welcomed there.

    Others

The college is good actually, the location is good, It is advised to join only if your budget allows, you have that much momey because expenses are there even after your college fees. Studying from an education loan in such colleges is a big mistake which I'm. making...

    Campus environment peaceful and clean

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

College has energetic academic environment. Although the campus area is not extremely large, it is well utilized with clean academic blocks, modern labs, and well-organized classrooms. Most classrooms are equipped with digital teaching tools that make learning more interactive. The laboratories are well maintained and updated to meet current curriculum and industry standards. The library is spacious and provides a calm atmosphere for long study hours, with access to both physical books and online resources.

    Academics

Faculty are knowledgeable and take academics seriously. They follow a structured teaching approach and ensure syllabus coverage along with practical understanding. Teachers often share additional notes, references, and online materials to help students learn better. Faculty guidance during final-year projects and internships is very helpful. Many professors motivate students to prepare for competitive exams, higher studies, and certifications. While some teachers are strict about discipline and deadlines, it helps maintain academic standards.

    Placements

College has impressive placements record. Cse and IT have the highest number of offers, but Mechanical, Civil, and EEE students also get opportunities in both core and service-based companies. The placement cell conducts aptitude training, coding practice, resume-building sessions, and mock interviews well before the placement season. The average salary package is around ₹5–6 LPA, and high-skilled students manage to secure offers beyond ₹12 LPA. Many students also get internships in their third or final year, which helps them gain industry exposure early.

    Teachers always supportive and helpful

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

My college is well-developed campus that feels active and student-oriented. The buildings are modern and neatly maintained, with classrooms that are spacious, clean, and fitted with projectors and audio systems. Laboratories are one of the strong points of the college, especially for CSE, ECE, Mechanical, and Civil branches, where students get good hands-on exposure with proper equipment. The central library is large and quiet, offering textbooks, reference books, journals, and digital resources, which are very helpful during exams and project work. The campus also includes seminar halls, auditoriums, sports grounds, and indoor game facilities.

    Academics

Faculty are experienced and well-qualified, with many professors holding PhDs and strong academic backgrounds. They explain concepts clearly and focus on building strong fundamentals, which helps students in exams as well as placements. Teachers regularly conduct tests, assignments, and lab evaluations to keep students engaged. Faculty members are approachable and guide students during projects, internships, and research work. Many professors also encourage students to participate in technical fests, hackathons, and workshops.

    Placements

Placements are very strong and are one of the main reasons students prefer this college. Many reputed companies from IT, product-based, consulting, and core sectors visit the campus every year. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Deloitte, Amazon, Microsoft, Bosch, and IBM recruit students regularly. The average package usually ranges from ₹5–7 LPA, while top-performing students secure packages above ₹10–15 LPA. Internship opportunities are also good, and many internships convert into full-time offers.

Decent academics, average campus life, overall average.

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at DSCE is quite good, with most essential facilities available on campus. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors and the labs for engineering branches are well maintained with the required equipment. The library is a strong point, offering a wide range of books, peaceful reading spaces, and a good seating. WIFI is available across many areas, though it can be inconsistent at times. Sports facilities are decent, and the campus is clean overall. Hostels are manageable, though the food could be better.

    Academics

As an ISE department, academics are overwhelming. Teaching quality varies a lot, and many classes lack clarity or depth. Practical exposure is limited, and the curriculum feels rushed. Overall, it is very average but could be more job oriented.

    Placements

The placement scenario at DSCE is average. The college provides basic support, but the process can feel unstructured and competitive. Networking opportunities and guidance exist but are inconsistent, making it challenging for many students to secure preferred roles. Overall, placements are decent for consistent performers, but those aiming for high packages may need extra preparation outside college support.

    Value for Money

DSCE offers decent education and facility for the fee charged. While some resources could be improved, the overall learning experience is worth the cost for most students. Faculty support and practical exposure add good value. Infrastructure is satisfactory, and the campus environment encourages learning and overall development.

    Campus Life

Campus life is average. There are some extracurricular activities and events, but overall engagement and student interaction could be better. Facilities are okay but not very vibrant.
