AITH Kanpur Facilities

Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped Kanpur offers many facilities to the students, faculty and staff. AITH Kanpur facilities include residential facilities, sports facilities, cafeteria, auditorium, library, transportation facilities, and many other facilities. Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped facilities also includes various sports infrastructure.

AITH Kanpur medical facilities are also provided to students and faculty members in case of emergency. A modern IT infrastructure is also part of AITH Kanpur campus facilities and 24 hours internet facility is also provided by the institute. AITH Kanpur also has a food court that provides healthy and nutritious meals to the students, faculty and staff. Departmental laboratories are provided by the institute to the students. Boys Hostel
There are separate hostels for boys (Handicapped Students) within the campus. There is proper arrangement of ramps etc so that the student can access each and every corner of hostel using a wheelchair. At Present, the institute arranges hostel accommodation for Ist year students only outside the campus.
Girls Hostel
There are separate hostels for girls (Handicapped Students) within the campus. There is proper arrangement of ramps etc so that the student can access each and every corner of hostel using a wheelchair. Medical/Hospital
24*7 Medical Facilities and Ambulance.
Library
Library Timing: Morning 08:00 AM to Evening 07:00 PM (Monday to Saturday). Members must show their Library Card on entering the Library while borrowing books and at any time if asked to do so by the Library staff.
Sports
Indoor/ outdoor sports facilities and playground.
I.T Infrastructure
Excellent IT infrastructure with rich e-learning resource repository with NPTEL videos/lectures.
Cafeteria
There is a canteen attached with the hostel to meet the daily needs of the hostelers as well as day scholars and members of the staff.
Alumni Associations
The college has an Alumni Association.
Wifi
Fully Wi-Fi Campus available in the college campus.
Laboratories
AITH, Kanpur strives to impart a technical education with a fine balance in technical knowledge, Laboratory exposure and novel concepts related to research in various fields.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructures of the college was not too good during our session but recently a new academic block for Computer Science department has been constructed of two floors with all the latest facilities inside it, college have a central library which is not very vast but still average, two seminar halls with the strength of 200 persons and AI lab the college's infrastructure has been designed based on the comfortable for the handicapped students having elevator facilities and academic blocks for each department. Only girls hostels inside campus and for till 2nd year. Have WiFi in the campus and one sports playground having a lot of grasses.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure , facilities all the things are good and maintained for the handicapped students. Facilities includes good classrooms with space , library with good number of book available for students who were blind. All the things are maintained.

College Infrastructure

Government College but decent infrastructure. Hostel is good and the food quality in mess and canteen is hygienic. The College campus is very good with Wi-Fi, labs, classroom and a library. Labs are also up to date and industry standard.
