AITH Kanpur Facilities

Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped Kanpur offers many facilities to the students, faculty and staff. AITH Kanpur facilities include residential facilities, sports facilities, cafeteria, auditorium, library, transportation facilities, and many other facilities. The institute provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The library of the institute provides students with many academic resources to help them with their academics. Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped Kanpur facilities also includes various sports infrastructure. The institute also has a food court that provides healthy and nutritious meals to the students, faculty and staff. Medical facilities are provided by the institute. A modern IT infrastructure is also part of AITH Kanpur campus facilities and 24 hours internet facility is also provided by the institute. Boys Hostel
There are separate hostels for boys (Handicapped Students) within the campus. There is proper arrangement of ramps etc so that the student can access each and every corner of hostel using a wheelchair. At Present, the institute arranges hostel accommodation for Ist year students only outside the campus.

There are separate hostels for girls (Handicapped Students) within the campus. There is proper arrangement of ramps etc so that the student can access each and every corner of hostel using a wheelchair. Medical/Hospital
24*7 Medical Facilities and Ambulance.
Library
Library Timing: Morning 08:00 AM to Evening 07:00 PM (Monday to Saturday). Members must show their Library Card on entering the Library while borrowing books and at any time if asked to do so by the Library staff.
Sports
Indoor/ outdoor sports facilities and playground.
I.T Infrastructure
Excellent IT infrastructure with rich e-learning resource repository with NPTEL videos/lectures.
Cafeteria
There is a canteen attached with the hostel to meet the daily needs of the hostelers as well as day scholars and members of the staff.
Alumni Associations
The college has an Alumni Association.
Wifi
Fully Wi-Fi Campus available in the college campus.
Laboratories
AITH, Kanpur strives to impart a technical education with a fine balance in technical knowledge, Laboratory exposure and novel concepts related to research in various fields.

College Infrastructure

Here in my college the infrastructure is average but it is growing up year by year and improving the infrastructure as it already have some basic requirements in it but advance equipment's for any advance use or experiments are lacking here. Wi-Fi is available in the college and some smart classrooms are also available but all the classes are not smart classes and white boards are being used. A quality library is here in the campus with AC.

It is very good college.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is average, campus tatal area is around 30 hactare, including hostal, canteen, sport play ground, faculties hostal, library. But do not worry working in progress to maintain a good infrastructure.

value for money, it have good faculty, good batchmets.

I give average rating because its total area of college is only 30 hectare, including playground ,hostal, canteen, campus,laibrary,faculty hostals or residences, HODs residences. so in my according an engineering college is not enough in 30 hactare

Dear,

The aim of the Institute is to provide meaningful education, of the highest standard and to provide leadership in technological innovation. The institute offers four diploma and five undergraduate B. Tech courses. Diploma courses with intake of 40 each are exclusively for disabled whereas 60 % seats are reserved in B.Tech courses each of 60 intake. The entire campus is barrier free especially designed for Divyangs. The institute has already marked its presence as a leading technical institute. Its strengths and standing are best evidenced by the high UPSEE ranked students admitted in various programs and well qualified faculty. Hope! The institute with its sustained efforts will be able to achieve greater heights and the work culture, which will be unique and distinct to contribute global vision of inclusive education.

which college is best for btech biotechnology sardar vallabhai patel university meerut or dr.ambedkar institute of technology for handicapped kanpur?

hey!

Both colleges provide good infrastructure facilities to students including well furnished classrooms, sports ground, laboratories, medical facilities, library etc. Faculty members are highly qualified and supportive in nature. But coming to the placements, sardar vallabh bhai patel college offers 80% placement record, but as per the reviews there are no such considerable placements for students of biotechnology. And in Dr. Ambedkar institute the placement opportunities for biotechnology students are comparatively less than the other courses.
