The College Central Library is one of the most modern Diploma Engineering College Library in West Bengal. The BCRP  Library has a generous collection of Engineering Books, Textbooks, Reference books, Scientific Journals, Periodicals, Reports, a substantial collection of CD-ROMs / DVDs relating to books, etc. In addition, it has books on Humanities, Basic Sciences, and Career Guidance books, as well as an e-learning facility as a central learning resource center. The library is fully computerized with ‘LIBSYS’  Library Management Software, with barcode technology, and fully automated.  DELNET is offering our Institution 10, 270, 038 e-resources including E-Journals, E-Books, and E-Articles, in various disciplines. There are 19,378 e-journals and 102,063 e-books which one can access through the Knowledge Gainer Portal of DELNET. 

The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students. it constantly upgrades instruments and apparatus to keep our BCRP laboratories in tandem with the dynamics of the industry and technology. 

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students with the following facilities Large Computer center with internet connectivity • Computers served on Common LAN. • Provision of the Internet on Computers for teachers and students. • Network managed by Servers & Managed Switches.

The college acknowledges that physical fitness is important when contributing to the overall development of the students. The gymnasium has modern equipment that addresses the exercise and fitness needs of the students. Having a fit body has a positive impact on the mental development of the students and hence we motivate them to spend adequate time at the gymnasiums to receive the much-needed relaxation. It also has a dedicated yoga and meditation center for our students. Yoga and meditation are known to provide mental peace along with physical benefits.

The College sports facilities that offer an amiable environment are required to nurture sportsman spirit, healthy competitive spirit, team bonding, and team effort. It also helps us develop the leadership and influential skills of our students.  

The college is having a large seminar hall with more than 100 seating capacity. It is fully air-conditioned and equipped with good acoustics, and audio-visual aids such as microphones, video playback, a slide projector, etc. These facilities cater to multiple uses such as meetings of students & faculty members, convocations, presentations, workshops and conferences, expert/guest lectures, etc.

The College offers primary medical support to satiate the urgent healthcare necessities of the students. We are blessed to have the support of doctors from reputed hospitals who address all the healthcare concerns of the students.  The BCRP medical unit is well-equipped with all the required equipment and apparatus to aid the primary health concerns.  

The college houses a food station that can be accessed by the members of the college, students, and other individuals visiting the institution. We acknowledge the need for proper nutrition backed up by cleanliness and hygiene. We keep available the essential courses of the meal of the day and snacks to address the mid-day cravings. Our food stations or college cafeteria is kept clean and maintains the utmost level of hygiene, prioritizing the health of all. Guardians or parents paying a visit to their wards, or using our guesthouse for a comfortable stay can also access the food station for their daily courses of the meal.  

The college acknowledges the need for quality family time. Keeping the essence of family in mind, we welcome the parents or guardians of our students for a comfortable stay at the college guest house of Dr. B. C. Roy Polytechnic. This stay is approved on a token basis. the college has provisions for both Air-Conditions and Non-Air-Condition guest rooms equipped with all the required amenities for a comfortable staying.

Dr. B. C. Roy Polytechnic recognizes the need for in-depth technical knowledge, numerous facets of the internet, and its potential to change the way of the learning process, and this has prompted us to provide our aspiring students with Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus.

The college student clubs are named E and CC clubs that adhere to the interests of the students beyond academics. Dr. B. C. Roy Polytechnic also encourages participation in Annual Techfest which is known as TANTRAJA. This fest allows our students to explore their creativity, skills, and innovativeness each year. Through this fest, we also support research and exploration of their areas of interest in the field of Engineering. We make the students feel comfortable enough to organise such annual events take part in the annual cultural fest and nurture their skills to find happiness in creation. The college has NSS Club also.
