Yes, at this score, getting a seat in a private medical college is absolutely possible. Or for that matter, getting a seat in deemed college is also possible. But the fees would be high enough and it may be high or very high depending upon the college.

Hope you are doing good. Actually your brothers son has scored very good. He or she will be able to get seat in most of the colleges. But we cant tell in particular because we cant guess the cutoff of that particular college.

IIMs take admissions on the basis of CAT score, academics and gd/pi performance. IIMs also take diversity factor into consideration while taking admission. Scoring 50% in graduation is too low to take admission in IIM as 15-20% weightage is given to graduation Mark's.
