hi

you are eligible for private medical college through registration for counseling in other states. Yes if you come in 15% quota allotted by MCIs, you can get a college out of state. Another thing is there is the provision of management seats in every private medical college which can be acquired by any person of any state.

apply to the KEA COUNSELING PROCESS AND FILL UP YOUR DETAILS AND LOCK YOUR CHOICES OF COLLEGES

.

Hello Aspirant,

In order to apply for government medical college, you need to be a resident of Karnataka, other state students cannot apply to medical colleges in Karnataka. However, you can apply to private medical colleges under open and other quota seats in Karnataka.

Hope this helps you,

Good Luck, Thank You :)

Yes, your NEET scores are sufficient enough to get admission in Karnataka Private Medical College. The cut off score for Christian minority is 146 - 133. So, you have fair chances of getting admission over there. Talking about you being a non - domicile, friend Karnataka comes under one of those states which allows non - domicile candidate to take admission in reputed private medical colleges.

Hope it helps!!!!!

Hello student,

Congratulations for maintaining a good score. You can try for management quota as well. The cutoff is usually low but fees will be a little bit higher.

Hello aspirant.

As you mentioned you want to take part in deemed dental colleges in Karnataka, but you are a Maharashtra domicile holder, you will have to take part in All India Counselling conducted by the MCC. To participate in All India Counselling  for deemed universities, you need to register at the MCC site and pay INR 5000 (non refundable fee) as application fee and INR 200000 (refundable) as security deposit (For all categories) which will be adjusted in the tuition fee if a seat is allotted to you and you take admission in the college or will be refunded if no seat is allotted to you, after the counselling ends.

IN deemed colleges, 100% seats are reserved under the All India Quota and the cut off usually goes low for these (barring a few colleges such as KMC and HIMSR). However, if you wish to take admission in private dental colleges in Karnataka or government dental colleges, you will have to participate in Karnataka state counselling. Please note that you will be a part of 15% quota and can only participate through All India Counselling for government colleges as you are not Karnataka domiciled.

Hope you have understood the difference. All the best!

Hello aspirant,

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc. As you mention with 418 marks  you have a chance to get seat in Vydehi medical college.
