Hello student,
To pursue MBBS in Karnataka you have two ways, either apply through All India Quota counselling or State quota counselling.
The State quota counselling for 85per cent of the seats is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for all medical courses like MBBS, BDS etc. The process will start soon as the authority has not announced dates yet. The process will begin with the registrations. And all the information will be provided at kea.kar.nic.in.
Hope you get some clarification.
No I'm afraid such a rank would not be sufficient to fetch a government medical college even via state quota of your respective state although you must wait for the mop up round to end , however I recommend you to start the preparation now only if you are planning to take a drop and focus on preparation from now onwards
You would also be eligible to take admission in BDS ,BAMS ,BHMS courses in government medical colleges and refer our website for info on the same
I also recommend you checking out our NEET college predictor
