No I am afraid 407 marks won't fetch you seat in government medical college in Karnataka even with the SC quota , as per the last year's trends the last student from Karnataka from SC quota to get medical seat had score in the range 500-520

However at 407 you can certainly try for government BDS , BAMS or BHMS colleges and also try for private medical college in Karnataka itself

Dear candidate, following past years cutoff you do have a chance in Krishna Institute of Medical Science,Karad. You can surely apply there when AI counselling starts. Now every year the rank varies and do not depend on marks alone. If not in the first round, wait for the subsequent rounds of counselling to get admission there.

According to NEET you need 400+ marks for getting government medical college. As you know NEET takes 720 marks entrance exam. And in that, if you get 500+ marks then you will get government medical college.

And below 500 marks student will get a private medical college. The student who is getting marks between 135 to 400 they can take admission on management quota.

Note:- According to your marks you will not get government college so you have a great chance to get admission in private college. God bless you for your current future.

Thank you.

In 2021 neet exam, cut off had gone above expectations, minimum Mark's needed to qualify for NEET this year 138 for general.
According to guidelines no medical institute india is eligible to give admission below cutoff...
You can try for overseas agency or can drop a year.
Dear you should try once more time with full energy to obtain good rank.
Best of luck

Hope you will get some help.

Hello aspirant,

On the basis of previous year cutoffs trend, there are almost nil chances for you to get government college for MBBS in any category in Karnataka. To get government medical college one must have rank (AIR) under 20k. However you can try for admission in private medical colleges and deemed universities of other states as well as your state too.

Also remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. For more college options at your rank you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool too :
