Yes, you can get in first round of counseling last year they have selected up to 75720 for mechanical engineering bc-d.

If you want the stream of mechanical engineering you can get into AU also for your rank they have selected up to 10200 last year of counseling.

AP EAMCET 2019 cut off data is not available yet.You have not mentioned your category assuming that you belong to general category the cut off was as follows branch wise in Gayathri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering:

• Chemical : 13723

• CSE: 3193
• IT: 6553

In 2020 the cut off changes depending on number of vacancies available, number of candidates appeared, number of candidates qualified etc.

Yes absolutely you can do BTech after Diploma. If you have done 3 years of diploma course after 10th and 12th you are eligible to do Btech.

Geo Informatics course is the course which is done to tackle the problems related to the geography,Geo science and related branches of engineering with the help of technology for example building a weather sensing machine which is used to predict weather.

Marine Engineering is branch which is done to study the mechanical systems on a ship and most tof the times the job is on the ship, you have to stay onboard on a ship for a lot of time. You have to maintain the ship and have to keep it running smoothly. You can also join NAVY after this brach of engineering.

Hello student, The Institute is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada and is accredited with ‘Grade – A’ by NAAC. GVP is also approved by University Grants Commission of India (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Placements are also good in the college. 70% of students definitely got job in many reputated companies.

Hi ! I will tell you this on the basis of placement details. Upto last year the placement record was good for Siddharta engineering college. Core companies visit there much more than the latter one. But in the latter one it companies visit more. So according to stream get admission. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.

In my opinion you should choose GVP COLLEGE for mechanical engineering . There are a few things that seem to be very Odd about this College.

1. Library: Its a Library with very Old Books (for mech dept) .there are a few good books. You will find that the number of copies are limited to 5 copies, for a batch with 140 people, makes it hard and rare to find them.
2. Administration: Its Okayish in aspects of Running the College. They are good in encouraging the Talent and New Ideas.
3. Infrastructure: Coming to Infrastructure it is a nightmare for the students. The Classrooms are good but the Labs are really Horrible during our times. They are equipped with Mid-core standard equipment. The rooms are sheds where students perform Experiments. The Computer Lab is fine, but, most of them are very Old and Obsolete, these need changes and improvement.
4. Food: The food is of average Quality. Students are forced to eat Vegetarian only. No Non Vegetarian is allowed into the campus.
5. Placements: They mostly focus on sending students irrespective of branch and interest into Software companies like: TCS, Wipro, etc.            But     Frankly speaking GVP is a very nice place to stay in with fair-enough area. It will help you learn modesty,discipline and essence of different morals which you can never learn in other colleges. It teaches you the best with Good faculty and fair syllabus(better than other AP colleges). It holds class A- mechanical labs equipment. It supports you the best for technical projects. Infact it also have a wind-turbine and a mini solar-plant for advanced electric sourcing. In the end it moulds you to a perfect professional. You’ll regret lifetime if you miss this.
6. Faculty: There are good faculty for mech Department. They put their maximum effort to make you understand and clear the concepts.
