My GN rank is 359 and GL 153 Can I get admission in IET

Hi Rashi, I hope you are talking about IET, Lucknow. If yes, then with GN 359 rank you do have a chance of securing a seat in IET, Lucknow. With GL 153 rank, you have a high chance of getting it.

I got UPSEE rank obc(35) and gen(96) for MCA lateral entry so for which college i should go, will i get IET, or what's the other best option

Hi, your rank is very good. With 96 General rank you should aim for IET, Lucknow. You can easily get IET (UPTU main campus). You should also try for MMMIT, AKGEC, BIET, JSS. But you will definitely get IET for MCA with this rank.

I would suggest you JSS college. The placements are quite better. You would get better exposure there.

I am UPBC with rank 5.5k in general category and 1.4k in category can I get C.S. in IET.

According to last year (2017) ,Here are the cutoffs-:

316 marks and rank was around 5k (General). So, now you can judge your rank as paper difficulty of 2018 was quite similar to 2017.

There are possibilities you will get your desired branch

No, you have almost veve lese chances that you will able to secure admission in IET, Lucknow. This rank is not enough to get admission in IET because it is top college of AKTU, and every aspirant go for it first

My upsee rank is 3459 nd girls rank is 381 which branch can i get in iet or hbtu

Hello Aayushi,

It is very difficult to get IET with a below 400 score in general category. Even though there are 1–2 seats reserved under UPGL(girls quota) in every branch but there also the competition is too high .One must aim atleat 420+ score to get into IET with desired branch in general category.

But don't loose hope and look for other government colleges like KNIT,BIET.

You may also consider equally good private colleges like JSS,AKG and KIET if fees is not an issue.
