Yes college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Tables chairs smart boards desktops and additional stationary. The overall environment and surroundings is very clean and neat and
I pursued pgpm finance and yes the quality and the professors are amazing and friendly and on toes to help always. The curriculum is well updated and the case study method helps us students to get more of practical knowledge.
The overall placement process was pretty well managed and the college made sure to place each and every student. The students placed percentage was 98 and avergage package was 6lacs p.a and highest was 13lacs.
Yes the college is value for money. It cost me 8lacs and package recived was nearly the same so had my breakeven point. On the other side would disagree because the college could have reduced the cost as it was covid batch and it was all virtual.
Since mine was a covid batch did not live campus life much. Contary if would have got the chance it would have been great experience. But later when things started getting normal, college did conduct annual fest which made us feel belonged and lived a bit of it
Yes overall a great educational experience.
Infrastructure is really small. If you see in Google, it shows one big building of Hiranandani estate. IBS has only 3 floors of them all. Yes, it has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment though.
In our batch, there were few amazing staff who had great knowledge of fin & eco. They also helps you to get internship if they know any firm as such. Even though you choose finance, it's all updated, still very few companies come for the role you have interested in.
Avg package goes around 3-4lpa. In the first phase of placement, companies which have brand value come offer package of 5-6 lpa. Once second phase starts, it goes down to 3-4lpa. Around 80-85% is for sales profile.
For batch 2020, it was 7.5 lakh. It's not at all worth our money. During the pandemic, few companies has cancelled contract even students who had got placed were are now jobless. Hence, always go for brand company.
Campus Life is amazing.
We do have good infrastructure but it could be more spacious and efficient. Classrooms, labs and libraries are well equipped. There could be more equipment in the sports centre. Canteen is okay in terms of food quality but its capacity is low. There is no hostel facility for the students inside the campus.
I am pursuing PGPM in finance. I am totally satisfied with the course, syllabus and the teaching faculty. Faculty members put their efforts even in video lectures to make us job ready. They also adopt the practical approach of learning. The curriculum is also well developed and is updated with recent developments.
The quality of placement is very good at our college. Around 98% of the students were placed this year. Highest package offered was 14 lakhs (national) and 50 lakhs (international) and it was for Marketing domain and average package offered was around 6.5 lakhs. The college is very supportive when it comes to placements. The faculty members and the placement team makes the placement process quite easy.
The fees of our two-year program is 8 lakhs which is worth investing for the quality of education this college provides. The ROI is good.
IBS is located in Powai. The area is safe in terms of water logging in rains but it has less connectivity to the transportation modes. As there is no hostel, students have to travel from far away locations and they face transportation issues. Overall, the campus life is good, students can engage in various social activities.
The infrastructure is really good. Good facilities are their for children. The library to computer lab everything is good and has good facilities assured. It gives a good experience for children as well as for the faculties.
The teaching quality is very good as we have faculties having 10-15 years of corporate experience. While teaching we also get to know the the real world experience which help ur to understand the concept in amoe better way.
Placements are are average but also you need to prove yourself by constantly working hard on every aspects. If you happen to prove to the recruiter then they surely will hire you. The proper skill set is always needed.
yes
Campus life was good , it is only situated in expensive place so living expense is high.
Our campus is situated in Hiranandani Gardens. The infrastructure of the college is pretty good but the campus is quite small. All classrooms, libraries, etc. are fully air-conditioned and well-maintained. There is a separate reading room for students, an indoor sports room for playing games and hanging out with friends, a not so big canteen, a hostel, etc. Overall, it has good infrastructure.
All faculty members are highly educated and experienced. They have a very good knowledge of the industry. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is also good and makes students industry-ready. Apart from regular faculties, IBS also has visiting faculty members who come from some reputable institutes of India.
The placements of the college are outstanding. Last year, more than 90% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was of INR 51 lacs from Tolaram Group and the average package offered was 5-7 lacs. Even the internship record of the college is very good. Last year, almost all students were offered internships from among the top companies of the market. Few of the past top recruiters are: Deloitte, Motilal Oswal, JP Morgan, Zycus, Morgan Stanley, Lodha Group, etc.
Hey Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great....!!!
If you want to know about the Amity University Mumbai, DY Patil or IBS Mumbai which one is better. If you are looking for a good location, Amity Mumbai is always a better option.
Amity has a culture of exposing students to different lifestyles and teaching them skills that are required in the corporate world. Such as public speaking and presentation abilities.
Most of the people were placed during their course through Amity college placements. The remainder were placed outside. Most of Amity pass outs are doing extremely well in current jobs. IBS Mumbai is a good university. In terms of placement, as far as I am aware, the students were placed in a variety of companies. The institute's placement in the financial sector is quite good. Overall, all the three are good universities, it depends upon you what you want to choose.
I hope this will help you.
Best of Luck:)
