The selection process for the IBS Mumbai has been scheduled for March 14 and 15, 2026.
The application window for admission to IBS Mumbai is open till March 13, 2026.
The campus here is pretty clean and hygienic in terms of washroom and canteen they are of great quality food is good too. For a PG college all the necessary equipments are there for students, whereas the campus is small there no campus it is just 3 floor to accommodate 1200+ students.
The teachers are so ambitious and experienced too. They are putting maximum effort in teaching the students. They are the most important part of the students' success. They will provide you all the necessary aids, and they will be the true supporters here. Any domain you go for faculty are all around good.
The placement is quite good here. In my year, it has been quite good inspite of the recession. Almost every year, 90-95% students are getting placement here. And they are getting quite a good amount of money too. The placement is not so bad here, but it is quite enough from what you can expect from a college.
For me fees is too high it should be less around 6 lakhs.
The infrastructure of the college is very well, and it is in one of the best locations in Mumbai, i.e. Hiranandani Garden, Powai. The college has a digital classroom with all the necessary facilities. The hostel is not available. There is a big cafeteria available in college itself, and there is a big library with thousands of books.
The teachers in the college are highly qualified and have relevant experience available. The course curriculum is highly relevant, and the teachers are highly punctual in the sense that the course curriculum is made in a way that makes you completely industry-ready through their course and 3 month long SIP as I am doing in ITC as a sales intern. I'm doing Post graduation in marketing.
Most of the students (95%) get the placement based on their skills and capabilities in the way they perform during the course of college, SIP, and interview. Every student gets a 3 month SIP in good companies, which is the most valuable and good thing in the course. Companies like Delloite, KPMG, JPMC, and many other companies came for the final placements.
From ROI point of view is a best option in teir 2 colleges
The college has more than 20 clubs, which are related to domain and extracurricular, and this also helps you a lot in management skills and improves your personality. As I am a sponsorship head in club Called E-cell it's a entrepreneurship club of IBS mumbai
So far the experience is this college in terms of Infrastrucutre and the facilties that they provide has been really good I think they compensate their small campus with providing us with lots of modern facilites like FUlly air conditioned campus , smart classroom, biometric attendence , different types of labs like SQL, SAP and Bloomberg labs. they have a decent library and canteen both are nice and campus is hygeienic
After completing my B.Sc in Information technology, I wanted to do something in analytics in finance, so I am pursuing a PGP in finance. IBS has a diverse faculty background, a unique blend of industrial experience, knowledge, and research. IBS provides a perfect curriculum that makes a student corporate ready. There are different clubs and committees. Teachers are very helpful. They give PPT and different forms of evaluation on a regular basis.
The placements are very good in this college. The top recruiting companies come for placements in our college. Our college has good return on investment. The placement team is very professional and helps every student achieve the best placement in their desired company. The placement procedure is very smooth.
From my undergrad in DG ruparel to IBS mumbai there is a drastic change in campus size and I don't like this campus during Konflux which is IBS annual fest Campus fees clausterphobic and event take place in class room as their is no open space and their auditorium is too small and just as 11 ft ceiling.
The college is located in the prime location of Mumbai, which is Powai. The campus infrastructure is great, and the labs, canteen, and classrooms are very spacious. But the campus is really small and their no sports or ground where student can just sit and chill. They do have pool table but they charge subscription fee to use that. Food in the canteen is very hygienic.
I did PGP in Finance as I wanted to start my own business. The teachers are very good and knowledgeable, and they share it with students. They also tell us about industry requirements. They teach students to be ready for the corporate world. Faculty members leave no stone unturned for students. The curriculum is good too.
Many roles are offered to students by the organisations. A few of them are financial analyst, business analyst, portfolio manager, credit manager, tax consultant, HR manager, key accounts manager, consultant, research analyst, sales manager and many more. I got placed in policybazaar as a portfolio manager which is the role I wanted. Students will have opportunities to choose from different profile.
There are many things to enjoy in college apart from studies. There are different domains and clubs, and also the clubs which are specific to the terms. The fests also help us in a systematic manner and in an organised way. The crowd is very good, and they push you to upgrade your knowledge. Scholarships are provided to the students with merit.
Our college has a great infrastructure with various labs and classes with upgraded technology in classrooms, computer labs, and a library with access to Wi-Fi on the whole campus. The campus has a hygienic canteen and medical facilities with a games room.
Teachers in our college are very helpful as they have industry experience. They are very knowledgeable in the subject. They teach both theoretically and practically. The course curriculum is very much relevant as it makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 40%.
About 98% of the total strength got placed during the previous year's placements. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, the average salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, Black Rock & Arcesium, and Wipro. About 100% of total students got internships.
Good
Infrastructural needs improvement. In terms of space and facilities, the classrooms are average. The library is a bit smaller than expected. There are not so many sports and recreational facilities. The hostel facility is not offered. In terms of the laboratories and classrooms, however, everything is good enough for academic purposes. One thing that needs improvement is the canteen. The capacity is a bit less than the number of students. The quality of the food is also not so great.
The faculty was amazing and well qualified too. The case study method was adopted, which was the best part of IBS. The student-faculty ratio was around 70:1. No industry exposure is given, and it is not required for experienced people, so do not join IBS if you have more than one year of experience. The curriculum was useful.
The placement scenario at IBS MUMBAI seems to be very promising based on what we have heard from the first year. Approximately 98 % of students are placed and the average package is about (₹8.17 LPA) while the highest package is approximately (₹18.8 LPA) which is at the National level. The top recruiters being Deloitte, PwC, KPMG which is encouraging as well. There are also internship opportunities for all students which provide the students with some practical experience. The majority of the roles offered are business development/sales roles and some finance related roles such as financial analyst. Therefore, the placement statistics are looking promising; however it will be interesting to see how this will translate into the actual processes, once we have completed the processes ourselves.
The college appears to be somewhat of a good value. The fees are in the area of ₹909000 and average pack out of close to ₹800000. This is a good return on investment. If you are fresh to the college, there is plenty of opportunity to learn and develop your foundation of knowledge for your future. However, if you have experience, it may not be the best fit. There is considerably more theory in the course than practical application.
The campus is quite small, but Ganpati week is really fun and lively. The annual fest, Konflux, is okay but not that great compared to other colleges.
Yes the college have necessary facilities including smart boards , canteen , library, and the building is maintained and different clubs and committee are there and wifi is also there clearly worth it .
There are huge number of teachers including inhouse and corporate experienced for giving the better idea of what is going on in the industry , and the curriculum is case based so that the better unde Of practical world be there
Placements are comparatively good if you look on the fees and if you compare it with other same tier colleges, it brings so many companies for internships and for final placement as well but the finance placement are better than others domain
Yes value for money as you get good placement if you’re in top 20% of the crowd
Very engaging and happening ,so many fests and internal activities
No nothings as of now
The college infrastructure is clean and good, and it has a library and canteen. The hostel cost is quite expensive. I suggest preferring from outside through broker. The annual event named Konflux is conducted every year. There are 18 clubs for students to join, and it has clubs such as for marketing and finances domain through which students can gain knowledge.
I am currently pursuing post graduation in marketing from here. Faculty members are mostly kind and well-qualified, and they have knowledge of particular subjects. The course curriculum is flexible, and students can choose the electives from the given options. Exams are quite difficult, and mostly, application-based questions are asked. Many brands' case studies are given in exams so that students can think according to that.
Almost 90-95% of the students are placed as some of them pursue their own startups. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, Deloitte, KPMG, Black Rock, EY, ICICI Bank, HDFC, IDFC Banks, etc. The majority of the students get sales internships in some startups, Aditya Birla, etc. Roles like management trainee, digital marketing management, researcher business development executive, etc., are offered. This is so far I know.
Our college also organises intra-college and inter-college fest, and every student gets a fair enough chance to participate in all events. Students get high chance to express their talent. But it is not that exciting from what I learnt from seniors.
Connectivity is the main thing. The campus crowd is from all over India. The college should reduce the intake of students, and currently, they have taken 1,300 students, which creates a negative point in the mind of students that they will get placements. College provides PGPM and not the MBA degree but recruiters are looking for your skills and not the Certificate. Scholarship is also given to students on basis of CGPA scored.
So far what I have experienced, the campus has most of the facilities but they don't have girls hostels facility from college itself , there is one hostel near the college which is good enough to stay until your graduation is over. The rent is around 15000 per month and along with that, you have to deposit 20000 INR for admission which is refundable. Hostel Fee is INR 170000 per year.
I had a plan to pursue a career in marketing. Hence, I took this course . All the faculty members (99%) directly come from the industry. Maximum professors are Ph.D. holders. They are exceptionally qualified and they teach us to become industry-ready. On this campus, the trimester system is there, i.e. every 3 months. End-term exams happen and in between, surprise tests and presentations are done.
Placements are great and the highest package is 12LPA for marketing role .The average is around 7-8LPA and the lowest is 5.5 LPA. , Reliance, blinkit, zomato, whatfix ,frootle, etc. are some companies that visit the campus. If the intake of college is 60 and all 60 students get placement.
Campus life here is ok as there are only 3 floors( 2 ground and one 6th floor ) so student are separate throughout the day which is not good .
As the college is well reputated, the campus is really nice. It has everything that student needs. As I was a placement cell coordinator, I have seen everything inside and how they work. the classrooms are of different sizes and professors faculty choose what type of class they want, but the facilities in all the classes were same.
The academics are pretty organized. They cover important subject like finance operations and others area such as HR as well. As a operation student I found that the concepts were explained clearly and hepled me build an understanding of the subject. We did lots of presentation on case studies which help build confidence and develop analytical skills.
The placements in this college are okay, if you are a average student you will find jobs in Sales in different industries. As for Myself I got place in Runwal Realty as operations trainee, which by the way I never thought that I will get inr real estate company. If you are thinking of doing post grad in opration their are many other option that you should think before IBS comes to your mind.
Campus life is good As it was involved in three different clubs I was busy for my whole !st year and learned so much.
Hello aspirant,
In the 2023 placements for IBS Mumbai PGPM, the placement rate reached 98%. As per the placement report, the average annual CTC was Rs 8.17 LPA. The highest package, comprising international and national offers, stood at Rs 11.13 LPA and Rs 18.80 LPA, respectively.

Hi,
In my opinion you should go for ITM Mumbai. ITM is better than IBS . ITM has good faculty, Better Campus and even Cost is little high then IBS . But you have to pay for quality isn't.
IBS Mumbai provides a two-year PGDM programme for Rs. 7.36 lakhs.
