The Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur, also known as IMT Nagpur or simply IMTN, is a private business school located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. It was the second Institute of Management Technology to be established, after IMT Ghaziabad.

IMT Nagpur Placements 2021 Specialization-wise:

During IMT Nagpur Placements 2021, 39% companies made offers to the students having Marketing specializations. 26% companies made offers to students with any specializations. 18% companies made offers to the students with specialization in Finance.

In the placement drive of IMT Nagpur most of the students recruited by BFSI, Consulting and IT & ITES. The average salary for the ITM Nagpur PGDM was Rs 7.72 LPA.

Both of them are good but IMT Nagpur is better when compared to Weschool for PGDM Course. IMT Nagpur offers four courses, which include PGDM, PGDM (Finance), PGDM (Marketing) and FPM.

CMAT cut off for IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad campus was 80 percentile last year. But the cut off is increasing year by year for both the colleges. So it might increase to 85 percentile. CMAT is the entrance exam for admission to MBA/PGDM 2021-23 in the AICTE approved management institutes and will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) .

With this percentile, IIMs might be out of question. You might have to opt for other B-Schools. Before we give you the list of the Colleges that you can apply for, we shall give a brief of GIIM Goa and IMT Nagpur. GIM Goa has 4 programmes and each one has a different shortlisting criteria. Candidates will be shortlisted based on over all profile.

There is no specific cut off

The main focus will be to admit students with profile mix

Every Candidate who is eligible and has applied for this programme and has been shortlisted will be interviewed.  So you do have fair chances for a seat in GIM, Goa.

IMT Nagpur follows slightly a different process. Their weightage is as follows:

You need to have atleast 80 percentile and above to  be shortlisted for IMT Nagpur. Those Candidates shortlisted based on their Test score will be also called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. According to the official website https://www.imtnagpur.ac.in/admissions , February 28th was the last date to fill in the applications for IMT Nagpur. Now with Corona Virus, all Institutions have postponed their further admission rounds. Most cities and States in India are under lockdown until March 31st. So it is too early to talk about a definite date. So please watch out for official information or you may reach out to the admissions department of the college for more information.

According to past records I think you should get shortlisted as the cutoff goes around 80-85 percentile. You should mail them and also contact on their helpline or admissions office and confirm. Many times the college's give importance to profile also. So just contact them.

The dates of group  discussion / personal interview at IMT Nagpur for admission are not decided yet. Tentatively, the admission process will take place in the first week of march 2020, and the counselling session in third/fourth week of march 2020.
