College is in a village and it's 45 kms from the city..We face a lot of difficulty in getting essential stationery items. But overall the campus is good. They have all sports facilities, good classrooms, LRC hall, etc
Some of the teachers are really good in teaching like Dr Smita ma'am, Dr Pawan Jain sir, etc but some teachers like Saleena ma'am,Kulkarni sir and Dr VS Gajavelli sir donot teach well. They are over possessive in person affairs and give very less focus on studies.
Placement at IMT Nagpur are really good and it is one of the only reasons why I joined this college.. They provide a really good ROI and some of the top companies do visit IMT nagpur. Overall for placement this is one of the best..
The college is well equipped with all the necessary facilities and modern equipments. They have a well furnished classrooms with smart boards, Biometric attandance system, Air conditioning and Wifi connectivity. But the college lack a good Auditorium at the moment.
Currently pursuing in PGDM Core, but will soon be choosing Marketing as my Major and Operations for Minors. The faculties are well experienced and have different styles of teaching. The quality of teaching is good overall. The curriculum covers all the recent developments in the fields and such as ESG, CSR and also contains additional courses like Business Ethics which lot of B-Schools doesn't provide.
The placements are good but can be better. The last years average package was around 10.8 Lakh CTC with a median of 10 lakh . This year it is expected to be more than that. The placement committee and the faculties are constantly trying to bring more companies into the college.
IMT Nagpur's infrastructure and facilities present a mixed picture, featuring both strengths and areas that may need improvement. The institution's classrooms are equipped with modern amenities like smart boards and projectors, enhancing the learning experience with interactive teaching methods. However, often technical glitches in these tools have been reported, causing occasional disruptions. The biometric attendance system efficiently tracks student presence.
I am currently pursuing PGDM Dual Specialisation in both Marketing and Finance. The quality of curriculum and faculties are great. The curriculum is upto the standards of top B schools and has all the relevant updates in it including business ethics, social responsibility, csr activities and business communication classes
The college provides good placement and is constantly trying to reach new heights. The college is student driven and there are placement committees which will help in the placement process from bringing in new companies and preparing students for there SIP and Final placement process.
Infrastructure is average , ac facility is not provided in hostel rooms, no auditorium or recreational space , sports centre will less equipment. Hygiene is good, well maintained, neat clean campus. Can do better
I am currently studing pgdm core , teaching is decent , academic pressure is higher than iims, our curriculum is updated , and same like iim a. Yes it does make us job ready but ut still depends on callibre
Average placements, 10k around. Last year 100 percent is placed , but lacks good companies and those who take on bulk. Highest was 22k. It was okay , process was basic and easy but not the best quality.
Our course cost us 14.5 lakhs, with hostel mess included. I thing getting qverage placement of 10 lakhs in placement in return is not a bad deal. But still needs to bring better comapanies, and activities .
Best features - no hostel timing curfew, 24/7 library, canteen, freedom, committees , clubs , forums etc totally a student driven campus. All of the staff are really good and helpful. Location is bit a problem , 35kms from city.
Every thing is fine but the wifi speed is sometimes slow. The college uses BSNL wifi and link is just gone sometimes. Byt there still working to make it better and faster. Jio people might face problems
The carriculum is good. More case studies are added this year. We are taught case studies from harward business review which helps us learn at a great outside level. Teachers are from mit, harward , standford.
Strict rules of placement is here. Once you got placed you can leave on the condition like you will not be allowed to sit in further rounds. Also there is a system of debardment points, where rules are to be followed if not you face them
ROI idls good if you work hard.
Campus life is good. The campus is 40 KM away from city so you tend to make friends here and hang out more in the campus. So you start enjoying the cmpus.
The college is equipped with great infra, classes with ac and wooden benches, projector. Great library space, to read or do group projects, wifi all over campus. Hostels are very clean and maintained.
I am student of PGDM core, and in future I will select my major and minor or I have a option for dual major. Teachers are straight from harward, mit, and thus is their material. So you get to learn well.
Placements come for marketing majorly, then finance. 100% placement is there with avg package of 10 thousand. Placement committee is very great here and takes care of most of the process and applies mentor mentee too so that students can ask their question.
Well the best part is ROI. Fees is approx 14.5 lakhs, and avg is 10-11, so great investment. For girls there is scholarship of 20% off on academic fees. And people who score well in cat xat gets 40% deduction
Best - Campus lush green we say, the people with different diverse backgrounds and skillset. The staff, teacher and mess food indeed. Worst - away from city, travel issues, category B college. Can do better
The college infrastructure is well-constructed and maintained. The institute has all the facilities inside the campus for a student manager. It has fully-equipped classrooms, LRC, a mess hall with a dining capacity of 1000 people at once, 4 hostels, faculty quarters, faculty mess, canteen, grounds and courts for almost all the sports, co-op store, eatery store, laundry service, hostels are clean, hygienic with all the facilities in the room, the rooms are Non-Ac. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
I am studying PGDM. The curriculum, books, case studies are at par with any of the IIMs. The faculty is highly experienced, qualified and approachable. The curriculum is updated and according to the recent market trends which makes us job-ready. The faculty always try to comprise their classes of all the required and available material for students to understand better. It enables us to crack the case studies. Even in the online mode, IMTN had wonderful, coordinated classes and examinations.
The quality of the placements is decent enough. 90% of the batch is placed till April 2021. The highest salary was 16 LPA to PGDM Marketing student. The average salary is 7.8 LPA. The placement process depends upon the company but the placement committee works regressively with the students to make them ready for interview, aptitude and GD. There are designated clubs that contribute to upgrading the skills of students in every way possible. The college is super supportive in placements.
The fees for the two-year full-time residential PGDM programme in IMTN is 12,10,000 which is quite justifiable. On the true grounds, the ROI is not that great but the college is improving that and will surely come up with bright colours in the coming years.
The campus is life is amazing. You will get enormous opportunities to show your talent and learn new skills. There are 60+ committees, clubs, forums, ventures where you can enter through a selection process and can apply your real time MBA learnings into practical activities. The campus is safe, there are doctors, nurses and ambulance 24/7 to handle the emergencies. College has it's own transportation mediums, in case of requirement.
I will rate 7/10 to the college. The college will do wonders in the coming time, I am so sure about it. I will surely recommend the college to the upcoming students.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure required by the students, we have well equipped classrooms, library, sports grounds and equipments. Also, the hostels are well maintained and equipped with wifi connections. They are clean and the hygeine factor is well maintained.
The academics of the college is good and is revised from time to time in order to incorporate the subjects and to follow the current industry trends. Also, fee new additions such as Social Entreprenuership programme has been introduced where the students are required to visit the nearby villages and anlayse the problems and create a business opportunity over there.
The current placement scenario is not as good as it should be due to the ongoing market conditions and the lack of jobs, otherwise the placements are well taken care of by the college and the average salary is also around 7-8 lpa.
Yes, you can say that it is value for money if you put yourselves into the whole process and try to reap the benefit as and when provided by the institute and through other ways. You can say that you gpt your money's worth only when you have put 100 percent of yourself
The campus life ia outstanding in IMT. The lush green campus provides the students with the best environment to live in. With the help of committees and forums, various kinds of activities, games keeps taking place all round the year.
No
It has almost everything including smart classes and what does a good B-school should have. There is a huge resources centre were you will get all resources relating to academics and books also get updated every month. There is new building which is almost constructed. Sports Facility is also available.
The pedagogy used here is very effective and faculty are very helpful and supportive. Faculty are ready to solve doubt whether it is day or night, basically anytime. Some stay in campus which is very much helpful.
It has a decent average package of 7.5L. the placement committee works very hard and evey there is aleast above 90% placement. Intership offered in the college are by good companies and there is about good stipend offered.
During my admission process it's 12L so there is a good return of about 8L. Currently for new admission it is hiked to 14L.
Campuss life is very amazing. College campus is amazing and night life is great. College days are always amazing.
Overall it is worth for doing.
The infrastructure is okay, projector is there. Not so sure about smartboard. Food is hygienic and the campus is cleaned on regular basis. A/C isn't der in the hostel and mess. Clean/decent hostel rooms.
Core MBA as will have the flexibility to choose subjects based on my interests. Curriculum seems fine with case studies based approach in most courses. Don't really know if makes us job ready, maybe....
Average placement with around 90% students getting placed. Average package and median package would be around 6-7 which isn't that great. College was supportive however sometimes the process weren't that pleasant.
Hello,
IMT Nagpur is generally better than IMI Kolkata in terms of brand value, alumni network, and corporate connections. IMT Nagpur has a higher average placement package (~9 LPA vs ~7 LPA at IMI Kolkata) and better faculty. however, IMI Kolkata is good for finance- related roles, so choose based on your specialization preference.

Hope you are well
The XAT cut-offs for IMT Nagpur and Welingkar Institute for their MBA program is between 70-80 percentile. So you have a good chance of getting a call from both institutes. However, the chances of conversion depend on your 10th, 12th, graduation marks.
