Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology Narayanguda Hyderabad(KMIT) has introduced new scholarship opportunities for extraordinary scholars to promote them and help them in their educational journey.

Criteria to be eligible for the scholarship is as follows:

Rank holders below 5,000 ranks in EAMCET are eligible for 100% fee waiver as a scholarship. Rank holders between 5,000 to 10,000 ranks in EAMCET are eligible for 50% fee waiver as a scholarship. National level winners or participants in academic competitions like Mathematics Olympiad, Science Olympiad, National Science fair or exhibitions (winners shall be given more weightage)

Participants in other activities and achievements may also apply and eligible students may be considered after thorough scrutiny of their application by the scholarship recommendation committee of KMIT.

KMIT is a good college to choose for CSE/IT. As per reviews of the students who has already studied here, the faculty here is dedicated towards the quality of teaching, apart from studies you will get many trainings as well.

Talking about placements, it's good for cse branch. A good number of students are placed every year in companies like wipro, infosys etc and the highest package was around 10 lpa in the year 2019.

The cut off rank for 2019 ,for the CSE branch 19931. And your rank is even lesser than that so, i assured you will get admission.

You haven't mentioned your category, considering it as General as per previous year data, following has been the cut-offs for Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology for its various branches;

• Computer Science Engineering; 6681
• Electronics and Communication Engineering;10277
• Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering;26854
• Information Technology;9174

Hence, based entirely on previous year data the chances are good on securing seat in KMIT for getting rank below 6000,  cutoffs vary every year based on multiple factors such as seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc.

The cutoff rank  has not been released yet so it is very difficult to say whether you will get admission or not. As per the previous year cutoff rank you could easily get admission in KMIT through TS EAMCET. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering BC_C BOYS Closing Rank : 19931, BC_C GIRLS Closing Rank 19931,

B.Tech in Information Technology BC_C 8075,

B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering BC_C 7752.

As these are the admissions as in round 1 of last admissions it may vary these year admissions only for prediction purposes only not the exact ones.

I want to ensure you that you will get a Seat there in your preferred course and related to the reimbursement of Fees, the College has the provision of providing scholarship and waivers to thoose students only, whose annual family income is less than 2 Lacs .

So, you are clearly eligible for that and now the main thing which matters is your Marks in the exam, which is less and if other students shown much interest in this college then might you don't even get a seat also.

As per your question, we can best figure out best college among these two colleges which are given by you is by comparing their study facility, infrastructure and placement. So

1) KMIT:-

As per their officials they had good infrastructure and have well qualified professors as per review. And as per placement package they have an average CTC package of 4.27LPA and highest CTC package of 28LPA.Top reputed Companies like google, Microsoft, Amazon came here for recruitment.

2) SNIST:-

As per their officials they too had well qualified professors who will guide you in the right way as well as they had good infrastructure as per review. As oer their officials they had an average CTC package of 3.5 LPA and highest package of 6 to 7 LPA. Companies like google, apps techno, etc came here for recruitment.

So as per my opinion you should go with KMIT as they have good placement packages and top reputed companies came their for recruitment. So as per your convenience you may choose any of them but KMIT have better figure than SNIST.

The cut off by rank for 2019, for the said branch and category was 19931. And you have ranked even lesser than that, so rest assured you will get admission.

I must add the cut offs might vary this year, due to the change in number of applicants , change in number of candidates who appeared for the entrance etc.

According to last some years cut offs of this college sorry to say but you have very less chances of getting admission in this college because the cut offs for this college for the mentioned branches are very higher than your rank.
