Hello Ahfaz, obviously KLE technological university is the better college than KLS gogte. KLE is a far better college I would say. It's one of the oldest universities in India and one of the best colleges in Karnataka. The Cutoffs for KLE is lower which shows that it has a better quality of students. This year placement was brilliant for KLE. Robert Bosch recruited about 130 students and SAP labs recruited 3 students @17Lakhs/annum.

With 36403 rank in COMDK-UGET, yes you can expect both Mechanical and Civil Engineering branches at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum.
The closing rank for Mechanical last year was around 43800 and for Civil, it was around 55200.

CSE cutoff for KCET at KLS Gogte Institute of technology is 9450. So it will be difficult to get an admission.

you can go for SEA College of engineering where the cutoff for CSE was 85559. you can get an admission there though counselling.

you can go for other colleges like:-

Can I Get the Seat For Mechanical Engg In GIT engg College...?

In all over India Computer Science Engineering has better recruitment than IT. Since both Computer Science Engineering and IT are close to each other you can opt for any department. But Computer Science Engineering is better I would suggest.
