Bannari Amman Institute of technology is quite better than kongu engineering, although both have same placement and academic records but infrastructure wise bannari Amman Institute of technology is much better.

Apart from these cafeteria and lounging is also better food is quite similar.

Kongu Engineering College is a leading college in Tamil Nadu. It has been rated AAA+ by Careers360 which means good and has been ranked at 135th position by NIRF among Engineering colleges of India. It is a NAAC Accredited A graded college. In terms of Academics, this college gives tough competition to others. Facilties such as Separate hostels for male and female students, Canteen, well equipped library, laboratories, WiFi facilties, dispensary and Transport facilities are provided properly. However you haven't mentioned the course which you are enquiring about.  But the placements of Kongu Engineering college is quite good. Cognizant, ICICI Bank, MRF, TCS, ITC, Accenture etc are prominent recruiters at our campus. Mostly Software companies come for recruitment. Placement for Computer science and Information technology branch is pretty impressive. The highest package was around 8 Lpa. Placements for core branches are not so improved. As per your cutoff score and previous year cutoff, you will get Kongunadu College of Engineering and Technology , Tiruchirapalli in 3rd or 4th round of counsellling. Last year opening cutoff for Electronics and Communication Engineering is 147and closing cutoff is 115 in 3rd round of counselling.

Last year opening cutoff for Computer Science Engineering is 141 and closing cutoff is 121 in 3rd round of counselling.
